Lupron for FET - Timing and dealing with Side-effects

Hi,

This is the first time that I will be taking Lupron for an FET (0.1CC daily for about 20 days & then 0.05CC for 10) . The nurse said it doesn't matter as to when I take the shot as long as its the same time everyday.
I have heard about all the wonderful side effects of Lupron & I was wondering if anyone had pointers on what time of the day was better in order to function relatively ok at work ? Also, any other pointers for those on Lupron is also very appreaciated.

I started Lupron last week Friday and UGH the headaches! No amount of Tylenol is helping I also get the sweats at night but other than that its been okay.

To get through it all I just tell myself itll all be worth it in the end and that if I dont deal with it the chances of a family are slim...I also try to look up positive quotes that helps! So does being swamped at work, I have very little time to think

BUT I am also on 10cc, hoping to have that reduced today once my RE calls.

Ohhhhhhh and I take mine between 6-9pm as instructed by my RE, I try to do it around the same time everyday though

I take all my meds between 6 and 8 pm. It doesn't always help with the side effect, but there isn't much to be done about them. I'm also not quite sure how you can be taking 0.1 cc. That would be like enough to fill the eye of a needle, right? I start with 20 units of Lupron, then move down to 10 units for most of the injection cycle.

Oh, the headache's worry me

I already have a chronic migraine issue (can't take any of the prophylactics when TTC), I wonder how I am going to cope...

Thanks @AandDM2014! I am guessing they mean 1CC which would be 10units...I should probably double check.
How are your side-effects with the Lupron ? I've never been on this before...hopefully I will last a month

I take mine between 7-9 pm. Sometimes I'm at work during this time but I sneak away to the bathroom and do my shot. If I get headaches I use tylenol and sometimes I put a small cotton ball with 2-3 drops of peppermint essential oil on my name badge (when I'm at work) or near my head (when I'm at home). It does seem to help. We do aromatherapy at work for patients whose pain meds aren't quite cutting it which is why I tried the peppermint oil in the first place.

@ddvj79 Small world, I suffer from Chronic Migraines too. I am convinced that all the meds I was taking caused my IF problems!

I had migraine surgery in October of 2015 and that helped get me off all the meds and all my numbers have drastically changed for the better. My RE is even amazed. So having headaches with the Lupron is very difficult but hopefully only temporary

@ddvj79 The side effects seem to be minimal for me, other than the occasional headache. Especially if I don't pay attention to my eating habits and make sure I don't get too hungry. Other than that it doesn't bother me.

@ddvj79 I suffer from atypical migraines and the headaches were the only side effect I had. Sometimes it was just a dull constant pain and other times it was terrible! Unfortunately nothing I did took care of the headaches, but I'm doing a fresh transfer so as soon as I added in the stims (a week later) the headaches went away. I'm guessing it's 10 units. I started at 10 then went down to 5. Good luck!

Thank you @AandSbaby @AandDM2014 & @lilmissslp!

I am trying to pay attention to my eating habits right now & hopefully avoiding my triggers will help.

This evening will be my day 4 of Lupron, so far not too bad. I do have headaches & nausea but its almost like my baseline because of the number of migraines I get is between 3-5/week
Just hope it stays like this or gets better
