  • Aside from our daily ticker changes it bothers me how bad we are at the other daily threads (I'm guilty of this too!)

  • This better not be an UO but I just can't with all the cop shootings.  The caregiver who was shot trying to help his autistic patient has me extremely ragey.  As the parent of an autistic child this terrifies me that there is not better training that is required for our police officers and first responders.

  Unfortunately, their spicy chicken breakfast biscuits have been one of my biggest cravings this pregnancy.  Went to get one on Monday and they discontinued the spicy chicken (breakfast only) in favor of some healthy egg sandwich thing.  It's a fried chicken place.  I can get that a Panera or Starbucks...WTF???

  I agree, kind of. She is actually a really great singer, but for some reason, she's never singing in her songs. Just "sing talking" or doing a baby voice. It's really weird. I heard some of her gospel stuff from before she was famous on TV and she's got a great voice. We just never hear it! And she's totally obnoxious.

  I really, really don't get the Beyoncé craze. Not at all. She's not talented, she can't dance. What and how did that happen???! People are obsessed and I just don't understand.

  Agreed. I mean, I like Chick Fil A but not that much. I want it every once in a while but definitely not somewhere I would say I love. People are crazy about it though.

  I don't eat at Chick Fil A because I don't eat chicken but I do recall that once upon a time their lemonade was pretty rockin'!

  The closest chick fil a is 150 miles from me but when I lived in NC I had it a few times and it was meh.

  Chick fil a is overrated, but I have enjoyed it from time to time. Mostly when I was working for Walgreens and a few stores had them next door
  
  I don't care for Beyonce, and am indifferent to Katy Perry
  
  My UO is that I don't mind how early Christmas stuff gets put in the stores. I just got to see the new keepsake ornaments at Hallmark and was so excited

  I feel like my UO is that Chick Fil A is the bomb.com. I could literally live off their chicken if it wasn't for the whole expensive/gain 100lbs thing.

  @Thscary I LOVE Christmas! It's my favorite time of the year. I'm the annoying neighbor that puts up decorationd starting Nov 1st. If I didn't love Halloween so much, I might start earlier. I literally take down the Halloween decorations and put up the Christmas ones the same day. People hate me.

  @AlwaysAuntNeverMom that is me too! I use the excuse that I need to get the lights up before it gets cold outside, so it's normally done on a mild day in early November. I love it so much

  @thscary I love Christmas stuff. Love love love it! BUT I also love my Fall/Halloween stuff and I want them separate! I love all-year-round Christmas stores that always sell Christmas items despite what time of year it is, but in regular stores I wan to enjoy my Fall/Halloween stuff for as long as possible without being distracted by Christmas too!

  You guys, I'm so excited for the holidays and baby's first this and that. Can we skip to Sept. already so we can have these babies and roll right into Halloween, etc? I can't wait to pick out his keepsake ornament and get him his stocking with his name stitched at the top and up hanging with all the others. 
  
  It seems like stores put out Xmas stuff earlier and earlier (I think it's now before Halloween at Costco lol). If the Xmas decorations weren't so much cuter than fall stuff (imo) then it might bother me. But I prefer to see snowmen and mini trains over leave wreaths and candles.

  Same here! And it gets put away embarrassingly late. Like...3rd week of January.

  Early FFFC? I may have once or twice in my life picked up a chicken sandwich and then picked up fries from somewhere else. Yeah, it happened and no, I ain't proud. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do though.

  awww, @ajn092, your post made me all nostalgic! Back when I first started dating my husband, when we lived in different neighbourhoods in Brooklyn, he once went to Wendy's for burgers while I went to McDonald's for the fries. He had this blue and black parka that had an interior pocket in the front that he zipped the bag of burgers in, so they wouldn't get cold in the 5 minute walk back to his apartment. One of the first things I loved about him, and a very happy memory for this morning.

  French fries are my favorite food group. I LIVE for dipping CFA's fries in a mixture of mayo, salt, & ketchup (this only applies to their fries).
