How far along are you? 20 weeks! Halfway there and I kinda can't believe it!

How big is baby? Banana (?), endive - two things that make him seem smaller than the mango last week

Whats going on this week? Nothing really - I had two appointments last week now nothing until the middle of August.

Rants/Raves/Questions I got the results back from my quad screen and 1 hour glucose test. Both looked good - but I'll probably do another glucose test at some point.

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? I'm in wine country in Washington this week for work and it really really makes me want to drink a glass (or 3) or Pinot noir.

Whats going on this week? Oh, not too much. Just biding my time until my August 1 appointments with the OB and the midwife.

Rants/Raves/Questions: None that I can think of.

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? I'm just gonna go generic here and say beer. I love beer. All types of beer. So much beer. I definitely miss it, but honestly, going without isn't as hard as I thought it would be. The worst was the first several weeks after my BFP--it was like I was having to get myself out of the habit of always wanting a beer after a long day. Now that that craving is gone, I'm alright.

How big is baby? bok choy

Whats going on this week? Not much this week.We have flies, gnats and ants in the house and can't figure out where they're coming from so tomorrow will be launching a full on investigation and if unsuccessful will be calling the exterminator. We cleaned out the garbage disposal, keep all fruit in the fridge, no sugar or bread sitting out. Maybe it's just so hot outside they're all trying to come in IDK but we didn't have this problem last summer.

Rants/Raves/Questions UGH!!!! I was so stressed this morning I forgot about the ticker change until I saw this post! It's been pretty much confirmed that my boss is having an inappropriate relationship with a woman who keeps forcing her way into the company. She no longer works here but he got her a job as an executive acct. manager for one of our vendors so she'll be around all the time. It's pathetic. I have a 2nd interview on August 1st and frankly if they offer me the job I think i'll take it even though I don't care for my future potential boss but at least she's not this corrupt. Im just disgusted.

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? YASSS!! I'd loooooveeee a frozen margarita, daquiri or pina colada right about now....and a pack of cigarettes but of course of the reason stated above. and wine of course. All the wine.

Whats going on this week? DH had an endoscopy this morning. Other than that, nothing until AS on Wednesday.

Whats going on this week? Heartburn is back. Ugh.

Rants/Raves/Questions None I can think of right now. I'm pretty boring this week.

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? My go to drink was either shots or Jack and Ginger, and I'm not really missing alcohol tbh. I made some mocktail sangria with cran grape juice instead of red wine (I know a little is supposedly safe, but I don't really like it and DH was not a fan of that idea) for a 4th of July party and that made me feel like I was partaking in the adult beverages with everyone else.

How far along are you? 20 weeks! I would say halfway there but I already know I won't be making it past 39 weeks. Scheduled C and all.

How big is baby? A banana! I actually ate a banana this morning before I checked the app. Was it a sign? Maybe. Maybe that's just what I always have for breakfast and this was bound to occur at some point.

Whats going on this week? My mama is relieving me from the insanity of my in laws and coming to visit! I have missed her. At some point in the future I'd love to move to a halfway point between FI's parents and mine, if only to be closer to mine. The halfway point also happens to be a lovely big city with an awesome downtown scene and farmer's market, so I definitely wouldn't mind living there.

Rants/Raves/Questions: I feel like I'm hungry all the time and my hunger can't be assuaged. It's a big change from feeling like I can't eat anything!

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? I love a good white wine, but I actually quit drinking once we decided to start TTC, just because I had read somewhere that not drinking improves fertility. I have no idea if that's true or not but I'm glad I was in that mindset of kicking the habit because now I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. My favorite non alcoholic drink is probably Dr. Pepper and I don't indulge in it as much as I did, but I still drink it and love it. It actually helps alleviate headaches and nausea some of the time for me.

19 weeks!

Baby is the size of a tissue box!

We had our AS today and got confirmation that she's a girl! Everything looked great. She weighs 10 oz and measures a day behind. So happy and blessed to have a healthy baby!

None today

I LOVE hot tea! I limit myself to one caffeinated cup in the morning now and decaf the rest of the day.

How far along are you? 19 weeks!

How big is baby? Zucchini or mango! I know from my AS yesterday she is 8 o.z.

Whats going on this week? Tuesday we interviewed a doula and I LOVED her and hired her. Yesterday morning we interviewed three daycare centers and I liked two of them and LOVED one. But the one I loved is 15 minutes away, which makes it a 30 minute RT for me every afternoon! They also provide diapers for the first year and food once they transition. They do baby yoga (OMG), ASL, and have a great education program so we will probably go with them. We saw ALL THE CUTE LITTLE BABIES and it was so fun!

The AS was short - 30 minutes. They did all the measurements and everything was within normal range, we got to see her little fingers and got a footprint to take home. It was assuring to see that everything was just as it was supposed to be, but it was strange seeing her skeleton it still doesn't feel like a baby.

Rants/Raves/Questions RAVE : Starting to feel her move around!!!

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? I love white wine especially a good chardonnay (buttery and oakey). I haven't been missing it much though, especially since I can't seem to get hydrated I feel like it would just give me a headache. I have had some virgin sangria, pina colada and margaritas and they were all pretty tasty!

Whats going on this week? Nothing exciting. One more week of work and then vacation! No appointments until I'm back from vacation.

Rants/Raves/Questions: Excited that we got the stroller we wanted for 40% off! We also hired our maternity/newborn photographer and are in the process of scheduling the maternity session.

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy? I think probably red wine. I actually don't really miss it. DH hasn't been drinking much since I can't drink, but when he does drink he drinks beer so that I'm not sad (I don't like beer very much).

Strawberry daiquiri, yes! So much, especially in these hot summer months, nothing sounds better except maybe a frozen margarita with a sugar laced rim.

Whats going on this week?

I took an impromptu road trip to see my mom in FL yesterday and got to play with her 3pound 5month old Yorkie. I did NOT steal him, but I did think about it. This weekend I think will be hitting up the farmer's market and re-evaluating my pregnancy nutrition to not include everything I impulsively feel like I'd like to put in my mouth.

Rants/Raves/Questions
Rant: legs and feet swelled up for the first time last night riding home from Florida, so that sucked. As someone above mentioned, it is SO hot and humid. I don't even want to walk the dogs anymore. Rave: I'm 18w today! Yay! And I found some nursery furniture at Target that isn't so expensive I'd be ashamed to register for it (I'm looking at you Babies R Us)!

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? I really miss coffee and tea. I gave up caffiene prior to getting pregnant hoping it would help things along (not sure if it did, who knows?) and even still, I miss coffee so, so much. We got behind a carrier truck last night that was obviously filled with some kind of coffee. Ahh, I wish we could have ridden behind that thing all the way home. The smell was so amazing. Maybe I should invest in a coffee scented candle? I imagine it's only going to get harder to abstain once the weather changes.

@caseyewhitaker Something you can do is fill a small glass jar with coffee beans and put a tea light in there and light that. The heat from the tea light warms up the coffee beans and makes your house smell like coffee, but it's a lot cheaper than having to buy a coffee scented candle! My mom does that and she also puts orange peels in her food/garbage disposal sometimes. Makes the whole house smell good.

18 weeks

I survived!! My husband was gone 4/5 days this week leaving me solo with our 17 month old. AND we both got sick halfway through. I'm pooped, but we made it and had a pretty good week!

I actually dont don't drink too much, since trying to get pregnant 2.5 years ago with baby #1. BUT my favorite all-time drink is Plexus Slim. It's replaced my morning tea or coffee and I can drink it during pregnancy. Can we say I feel amazing?!

Whats going on this week?

We had our AS on Tuesday. Baby looked good, 70% chance its a girl. I had issues with my cervix (see Here). Had another AS Thursday at the MFM. Still not a good shot, but most likely girl.

Rants/Raves/Questions

I have 3 blown veins from IVs since yesterday at like 11 am. 2 in one hand and the other in my bicept. Why do they have to hurt so much?
Also I'm so terribly bored in this hospital bed. Cannot wait until check out tomorrow.

GTKY: What's your favorite drink? Are you missing it during pregnancy?
I'm not really a drinker, I think I had 2 drinks between L's birth in August and Conception in march. My favorites are a Mike's Hard, or a Gummi bear thats been turned into full drink.
