Any luck getting pregnant after day 3 fresh transfer?

Hi ladies,

Just trying to get an idea of how many of you actually had a BFP from a fresh 3 day embryo transfer. My RE doesnt feel that my egg quality is good enough to make it to day 5 in the lab so we did a 3 day fresh transfer of 2 embryos. This is my 3rd IVF but 1st transfer. I have low egg count and my egg quality isnt that great either.
1st IVF no eggs
2nd IVF 3 eggs 0 fertilized
3rd IVF 6 eggs 3 fertilized, 2 transferred on day 3 and the 3rd embryo didnt make it to day 5.

Im currently in my TWW and have my beta this Fri 7/22.

Hi @Steff_99, I'm hoping someone will chime in, and you may want to try the "success after if" or board.. it's called something to that effect.

I have a friend who had success with a fresh 3 day transfer. She had around 30 eggs retrieved but they were all poor quality and only 1 made it to day 3. Her doctor didn't think it'd make it to day 5 so she did a 3 day transfer and now has a beautiful baby boy. I hope others can can you additional feedback. Don't give up hope, it's certainly possible! Hi @Steff_99, I made a comment to you the other day on your beta thread. I actually had success with a 3dt. At 28 years old my AMH is low @ 0.5. I only produced 6 eggs & 2 fertilized. We transferred both embryos @ day 3 since my RE thought they would have a better chance inside me. Out of the 2, 1 embryo stuck & I'm currently 20 weeks pregnant. Don't give up hope... I'm pulling for ya.

Hi there ! While I personally don't have experience with a 3 day transfer I have a friend who got pregnant with a 3dt. She had two embryos that they were not sure would make it to day five . She transferred one and she has a healthy baby boy now !! Good luck to you !!!
