  • 1.  8 working days left before vacation time!

    2.  Scratch that ...only 6 bc the last two I'll be out from surgery! Even better

    3. DS has been home sick past two days battling a fever and a bad cough - I opened up the Pokemon app to try and figure it out and asked him to come catch Pokemon with me and he ran away screaming "I don't wanna catch PokieDot"...lol

    4. I am unsure who I am rooting for on Big brother this season though I like that there actually has been power shifts and scheming this summer.

    5.  What is this Stepbet @hezzer78. I wanna play; maybe it will encourage me to actually hit my Step goal

    6. CD1 most likely tomo. Must remember to pick up wine

    7.  My poor pup has not eaten her food in 3 days. I don't know what's wrong. To be fair, DS gives her side food but she's always eaten her food too. One more day and we may need a vet visit.

    8.  I had a horrible dream last night that a big tidal wave washed over everything and everyone as I overlooked it from above.  Wth?!! I have had a similiar dream like this once before. It was shortly before my nana passed. I hope this is not indicative of anything.

    9. I want soft serve vanilla ice cream with chocolate sprinkles

    10.  I do miss OH on his 24 hour fire shifts, where he is right now but on the positive side, it is nice to have the bed to myself and not have him hog our bathroom lol

  • @Marley629 That's the best and worst thing about firehouse nights. I always missing him when he's at work, but I love stealing his pillows!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

@hezzer78. Ours is just in a pot on the deck.  What about that?

@Marley629 uh oh!  Hope DS and the pup are feeling better!

Eta *bump eats* @Sirius37. I told my DH about your raspberry thief and we both lolled and said that sounds about right!
  • @ktcakes87 Good for him, switching things up takes courage! ;)

    1. I found an outfit for the bachelorette weekend coming up! Finally! I was literally at like10 stores today. Was looking for something beachy and fun.
    2. AF probably tomorrow which is okay because then I can have worry free partying this weekend.
    3. Poppin all the bottles
    4. I found a parking spot immediately even though I came home late and didn't even have to parallel park. If you knew how bad I was at it, you would know this is a huge thing!
    5. DH had an interview tonight and were hoping for good reviews tomorrow!
    6. It was so refreshing to hear him so excited about work and this opportunity.
    7. I had a work dinner and was treated to delish tacos.
    8. I've been getting back into my morning gym routine and I'm just proud of getting my ass out of bed before 6 am.
    9. I picked up some matte polish I'm going to try Ooo I'm so trendy.
    10. Played Drakes new song Too Good and jammed out on the way home. Still in a good mood!

  • @Marley629 I'm obsessed with Big Brother too. And I'm loving this season so far.

  • @Marley629 I love Da'Vonne. I liked her on her original season, but she got the boot too soon. And of course James. But of the newbies, idk. None of them really stick out to me.

  • @marley629 Have you heard of dietbet? If so, it works the same way kind of. If you haven't heard of dietbet, it works like this: You join a game and pay an entry fee (mine was 40$). The game gives you certain step goals based on your step history in your fitbit app (it also works with apple watch). Each person has their own individual goals. Mine are 4 days of 10,700 steps, and 2 days of 14,300 steps. I get one rest day each week.  Our game lasts 6 weeks, but each game is different. If you meet your goals every week, you win your money back AT LEAST.  If a lot of people drop out or quit, you have the possibility to make a little money. I did a diet bet once and the bet was 30$ but I won 47$ - so it's not a lot of money, but it's a little and it's motivation to make sure I move!
Check out stepbet.com if you're interested. You'll need to download their app on your phone :)

@businesswife Well, we have this weird square of garden between our front door and garage and I want to put a rose bush there, but he says no. Maybe I can convince him with enough begging ;)

@hezzer78 dietbet/stepbet sounds so cool! I don't have a Fitbit (yet) but I love the idea and also have a girlfriend who LOVES to gamble and is working hard at being more active, so I will pass on this info! Thx!

edited because I realized you were talking about stepbet, not dietbet lol
