@annabenanna I'm with you on the clothes, I just keep rotating the same few pairs of bottoms, and plain t-shirts. To make it worse, I discovered a few days ago that my one and only pair of jeans I could still squeeze into, which have also been my #1 favorite pair of jeans for the past THREE YEARS, have a big rip in the but that no amount of skill, or witchcraft can repair. But I just can't justify buying new clothes right now. Especially not since I'm so close to the end and the season change is coming up, meaning I need to invest in new wardrobes for the kids first and foremost. I'll shrink back down, they're just going to keep getting bigger haha
@Kaessi, I probably should get some legging capris. I find myself most comfortable in short dresses, but then I feel so completely un-ladylike because I can't cross my legs...and the most comfortable position is with legs slightly apart while sitting at my desk. Ugh. The last tri is gonna be trying!
I know it's still early, but baby is still breech. normally a person shouldn't worry but with my history of breech it's hard to not feel irritated about it.
I'm sorry mine was breech at both ultrasounds, so I need to talk options with my doctor at tomorrow's appointment and see how long he gets to turn himself.

They think baby is sideways. Being a FTM, I felt like there was plenty of time to turn. When do they normally turn?

@annabenanna I'm with you (and all you other ladies) on the clothing front. I have two pairs of maternity jeans and two pairs of maternity corduroys from my first pregnancy, but I find maternity pants so uncomfortable this time around, so I've been living in the three maternity dresses I own and some of the stretchier dresses I wore pre-pregnancy. But I have a toddler who wants me to play with him all the time, so I've been wearing maternity leggings under my dresses. I know it looks silly, but no one wants to see my pregnant butt or thighs. I have been trying to only buy things I will be able to wear post-pregnancy, but then I have to make sure those clothes are breastfeeding-friendly. At what point in pregnancy is it okay to just wear pajama pants all day?

1 black dress all day every weekday for work haha. I got some jazzy cover ups to brighten the mood some days, but I work with all middle aged men. I'm not sure they would even notice if I came to work with a hot pink sportsuit on.
@ibabyloveb87 I think my OB said they need to turn by 36 weeks or they most likely won't. I'm one of the fortunate ones, mine has been head down since 20 weeks. I'm just hoping baby doesn't decide to turn around to get a different view!
At my scan today she said he was head down but it would "probably change 100 times before delivery". He's been head down this whole time so I'm hoping he stays that way.

Mine was head down until this last appointment. Luckily it doesn't really matter since I have to have a repeat c-section this time. You still have time for your babies to turn!
@ignoscemihi - I'm with you on the "no pants till due date" boycott....Not so much because of the weather but because they're so uncomfortable!!! @AllyTheKid, i'm sorry about the jeans. I hate that, jeans that fit really really well are SO hard to find! @SpaceBurger, I have a favorite black dress that I wear again and again and again.... I just vary the scarves...but lately, wearing a scarf has not been an option (too hot!)
This is more of a petty problem but it's worth bitching about. I love honey and honey flavored things so I was so excited to try the new honey nut flavored M&Ms. They just taste like regular peanut M&Ms. No discernible difference.
My BF is more of a TWT but, shoutout to the Trump bumper sticker douchebag driving in front of me today who flipped me off for an extended period of time after I beeped because you weren't paying attention and traffic was moving, right back atcha! I'm sure that was your biggest contribution to making America great "again"
My bitchfest is about my pelvic floor. I don't know wtf is going on today. There's been a lot of pressure all day, but it was just that...pressure. I tried to take my daughter to the library and just carrying the diaper bag was too much. I started getting some pain but only on the right side. Wtf pelvis. I'm only 26 weeks. I still have a while to go yet. Luckily my H has the day off today so he can take care of the kid while I lay down and drink water.
I went to my mom's house for lunch, ate 2 tacos and like 10 minutes later threw up everything, barely made it to the toilet... I had to change my blouse, and the only one a I could fit in was a neon pink tshirt.... on top of date due to the incident all my face, eyes and neck blood vessel broke and I have purple dots all over me, went to a convenient store and an old coworker told me my nose was bigger

They say by 36 weeks they like them head down. Some move up to labor but mine never moved and this one is in the same position as his sister was. I don't have a weird shaped uterus they have no idea why 2 of my 3 babies like to be in this position. I just have a feeling he won't turn like his sister didn't cause he is moving much less already cause he seems to be a good sized baby already.

nasty sweaty nightmarey sleep. My husband woke me up because I was moaning "no, no" but I told him I was just singing Justin Bieber. Also had to get up at three because I was so hungry. Plus it's hot out.
1) my pregnant thighs are making my leggings transparent (luckily I always wear long tunics and/or dresses over)
2) my pregnant brain is turning me into an "airhead" (for lack of a better term). I spent 20 minutes (to the delight of my DH & DD) referring to the "Q-tips" I needed to put in my orchids (when I thought I was saying "ice-cubes"). I mean. Really? Over and over again my mouth said Q-tip when my brain said ice-cube. Even after they asked me why I was calling the ice-cubes Q-tips, I kept doing it! "Oh man! I keep dropping these Q-tips..." and "These guys sure are thirsty for some Q-tips" ?????? I mean... WTF??!!
Last year, my mother-in-law sent me this video of a woman putting away laundry as her toddler followed, pulling the laundry out of the drawer. I thought "That's funny, but obviously staged." Yeah, that mom is me now. Only my toddler does this with Duplo bricks. And wooden blocks. And cookie cutters. You know what isn't funny? When you're six months pregnant and you have bend over to pick sixty wooden blocks off the floor for the third time because your child decides that he really wants to play with them thirty seconds after you've just put the last one back in its bin - and then plays with them for one minute before moving on to the Duplo.
I was picking up sub sandwiches with hubby when the woman making our sandwiches asked when I was due, so I said October. She replies "October?!? My daughter is due in August and I don't think she's as big as you!" Thank you lady, thank you.
@LauraPCOS People are NUTS! A lady getting her blood drawn next to me today asked when I was due and instead of giving her a date, I said "I have about 12 weeks left", I figured I'd have time to get out of there before she did the math and could come up with an inappropriate comment. She made a face like she was trying to figure it out and then gave up and goes "stand up, I can't tell if you're big or not." Umm, what?!? I'm literally supposed to put myself on display so you can judge my size?

Seriously @MRSCORKER! I literally can't imagine anyone saying that to me. Like, how do you even respond?!
I wish I had said the same thing back to her! She got distracted by the phlebotomist before I could respond and then I was done and walked away. My tech looked at me sympathetically and said "you look great, all belly!" She must be a mom. Lol

I'm a magnet for crazy people. Even pre-pregnancy. I have to work on my resting bitch face so they leave me alone. Lol
I'm pretty sure my RBF is the only reason I don't get random comments. I'm glad it comes in handy for something because usually I just get questions asking what's wrong or why I don't smile.

Holy cracker!!! "Stand up I can't tell if you're big or not"??? I don't even know how I would respond but I would hope something smart ass.
what totally makes up for my oh so encouraging lady is that hubby felt our little guy kick for the first time tonight. I was started to get seriously bummed by it since I'm 28 weeks and every time he tries, baby either goes quiet or his kicks aren't strong enough. Not tonight though, laying in bed I got baby to be super active (started moving my leg and baby got excited) so hubby put his hand out and baby kicked him right in the thumb so he not only felt it but saw his hand move! Sooo excited!!
Ok, well now I have something to bitch about! Lol. So apparently my cat has a neurological disorder that causes unnaturally high stress levels. With all the changes going on around here to get ready for baby, it finally became too much for him. He peed all over the baby stuff and multiple other places around the house, so I finally had to rush him over to the vet. He's having difficulty going, causing him to strain, have blood in his urine, and I can tell he's really starting to not feel good... all because of stress. Which is weird because he's actually a pretty chill cat! So now he needs to be doped up for 4 days while his new prescription food kicks in and we increase his water intake. And since he needs to be isolated from my other cat, I had to take him over to my moms house. So now I have to research ways to destress my cat, create a new feeding schedule that will help increase his water, and clean the cat pee out of everything.... and I miss my cat.
I worked veterinary medicine for many years. Does your cat have crystals in his urine, is that why they started the special diet?
One way to increase water intake can be to include canned food with your feeding practices. Most prescription diets have canned food that pairs with it, or you can soak some kibble in low sodium chicken broth before offering.
@TurtleMomma His bladder was empty so she couldn't check for crystals. She wants me to try and bring her some if I can tho. But the prescription food has a stress reducing element on top of the urinary benefits so that's why she switched his food over. She recommended wet food with a little water added and dividing his meals up into more frequent, smaller meals. She mentioned something about broth too but I had forgotten about it until now, so I will try that too, thank you!
@krzyriver... When our dog had his first pancreatitis attack, water intake was an issue. If it gets really bad, ask your vet if they can do a bolus of fluid. We did it as a precautionary measure because we were coming up on the weekend and worried about an emergency visit that would cost an arm and a leg. They do it under the skin in less than 30 mins and it helps tremendously (plus it's cheap). That said, it's not ideal so ways we increased our dog's water intake was to soak his new food with water and a little bit of beef broth. Just soaking in water wasn't enough to entice him and the sodium in the broth made me worried that it would be counter productive. We also just added a little bit of broth into his water once he was more willing to eat/drink anything. Good luck! I know how stressful having a sick pet is
ETA- I know they also have something that's like puppy Prozac. Is that an option for your cat?
Oh no @krzyriver your poor kitty My sister's cat is also high stress. She was very fortunate that a calming collar (and apparently a lavender diffuser) were enough to help him relax at home. I hope you guys can figure something out!
My bitch today is the heart burn. Oh god the heart burn. I eat tums like they're jelly beans and I'm guzzling milk.
@bnsmith85 I'll keep an eye on him, if he's not increasing his water I will definitely call and ask about that. They did give me two prescriptions and one was a tranquilizer to calm him. He'll only be on it for four days, so I was told to get these plug-in things that are supposed to have a calming effect.
@SuperNerd42 My vet mentioned the collar and diffuser. I was skeptical about if they would work, so it's good to know they do! Yeah, he's pretty pitiful right now. Breaks my heart. I hear you on the heartburn too! Mine just kicked in for the night. But I was told milk can actually make it worse. It provides temporary relief, but encourages more acid production. So my grandma told me to chew gum and it's working wonders for me!
