Humidifier?

One thing I never got for the nursery was a humidifier, but I'm wondering if I even need one.  I live on the Gulf Coast where it is extremely humid almost all the time.  Anyone live in a humid area find that they still need one?

    I live in VA. We have one just for when one of the kids is sick and needs it to help them breath. We use it maybe once a year.

    If humid we don't need one but we have it so when the dry season, aka fall, starts.

    You don't need it just because but if your LO gets congested or sick you will need it.

    I live in Colorado where a 100 degree day starts a forest fire because it's so dry and we never use ours unless one of the kids is sick.

    I live in CO too, but we have to use our humidifier  all winter because my boys have eczema and the cold and dry mix make them breakout. I also pull it out for colds in the summer.
