did anyone have their hcg levels checked after miscarriage/d&c and how long did it take for them to lower?

Mine was down to 1 at 3.5 weeks after my MC. I was never told my highest but I know it was at least over 2,000.

My highest was 27,000+ before procedure. It was in the 60s a week and a half after the procedure. A couple days after that an HPT was negative. It is a variable thing.

@Redpuma119 I actually had a natural miscarriage and I was 6.5 when it started. It really is such an individual thing in terms of how long it will take, regardless of how high it was to start out (though it being higher is also a contributing factor). I hope it goes down quickly for you!

I'm sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, it can wildly vary from person to person how long it takes to drop. I had a natural MC where my HCG was around 14,000 at 7 wks. The MC started at 10 wks, and I had negative HPTs about 2 weeks later. Some ladies on here have taken 4 weeks or more for negatives though. It all depends on how high your HCG levels were to start with and how quickly your body breaks down the HCG.

With my first loss they did not test my hcg after my d&c at 8 weeks. My highest number was about 12000 But I stopped getting. Positives when I tested after a month. With my ectopic my hcg was A 2 after 15 days. But high number was 515.

I had a natural mc at 9w1d (Friday) and they tested me on the following Monday. I don't remember the exact count at the time, but I do remember it was about 1/3 of what it should have been for 9 weeks.
I was back to negatives after 3 more weeks of monitoring and my AF came 33 days after the loss.

Hello, it definitely does vary wildly from person to person. I had extremely high levels - ~40K if I recall correctly and four days after taking two doses of misoprostol they were at 1000. Ten days after that, they were at 200. By the time I had betas drawn two weeks after that, it was negative. My period started 32 days after my first dose, but exactly 28 after delivering the placenta.

I don't know how high my levels got (were ~8100 about 3 weeks before the MC). I had a natural MC beginning on 2/17/16, and five days later, my levels were at 519. It took 30 days for my levels to be negative (3/21), and my period started on 3/30.

I had a MMC at 6 weeks' worth of growth, D&C at 10 weeks

2 weeks later - HCG 270

3 weeks - 50something

4 weeks - 15 - I got AF this week, 31 days after D&C

5 weeks - 7

6 weeks - 4 - I also ovulated this week
