Nothing too exciting - helping my Dad rebuild his porch Saturday and then teaching a private class. Sunday is a friend's baby's baptism. Should be a filled weekend but not really fun. I wish we were going camping so I could just sit outside and not think about things for a while.

I have a lot of awesome plans this weekend! Beach with my best friend tomorrow, and then facials with that same friend on Sunday. I haven't been to the beach yet this year so I'm really pumped.

@AliciaGoose Hugs. I'm sorry you're feeling so down today. Hopefully a weekend with your bestie will help.
Month/Cycle: 5/3
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: Temping, OPKs, EoD - though none during AF.
R/R: Ugh. CD1. I knew it was coming, but it still sucks. We have one more TTC cycle before we TTA for a bunch of months. Next summer involves a seriously long work trip for DH, moving to a new state, and a lot of other craziness, so having a baby next summer would not be ideal.
GTKY: Nothing very exciting, but I'm thrilled to have a weekend of hanging out and no scheduled plans.
Month/Cycle: 4/4 TTCAL
CD: 1...again. It's like groundhog day!
WAYDTGKU: PNV, BBT, B6, RRL tea
R/R: Sooo the decent amount of brown spotting i had yesterday and the day before never turned into full flow until my drive to work this morning. So this is technically CD1. yay...
I decided to try taking B6 instead of vitex for a while. I'm wondering if I have low progesterone and that's what's causing the short LP (although they are getting a tiny bit longer) and the spotting days before AF shows up. My post O temps are also not consistently staying high like I feel they should. And i figured if B6 or vitex helps raise that, I don't necessarily want to stop taking it as soon as I get a BFP, just in case, and I'm much more comfortable staying on B6 vitamins after a BFP than Vitex. Only because there is more research out there for B6 while pregnant. I made an appt for my yearly exam so i can go over some of these things with my dr. Unfortunately it's not until end of August. If I'm still not KU by then, maybe they can do some progesterone tests for me.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Any fun, exciting weekend plans? If not, what do you wish you were doing? One of my cousins from out of state is visiting with his wife so all of the local family is getting together at my parents house for a pool party on Saturday. DH and I also have a friend and his gf in town so we might meet up with them at some point for a drink. Should be fun!
@AliciaGoose i'm sorry you're having a rough day. I know the feeling. I had a coworker who was supposed to have the day off stop by the office with his pregnant wife. She's due about 2 weeks before I would've been due. It was also kinda sorta CD 1 for me. It was too much. I totally get it. Hang in there girl. *hugs* And enjoy your beach day! Super jealous.
ETA: @kissthesky32 sorry about CD1 AF sucks.

mommy to the cutest rescue mutt ever.
my chart
CD: 32
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, BBT, charting, acupuncture, CoQ10, checking cm/cervix, sex when possible, whatever I'm forgetting.
R/R: My rave is that for the first time in this long cycle I finally had EWCM. Like not "is that a tiny bit of EWCM?" but like I went to the bathroom and was like "WHOA where did all this EWCM come from?!" so I'm hopeful that it's a good sign that maybe my body is getting it together and I'll ovulate soon-ish.
I'm feeling a little better today with everything. Mr. NamelessAria and I had a talk and he apologized for being hard on me and being cranky. He doesn't really agree that I should still be so sad over everything and he seems to think I'm a little emotionally defective or something but he said that this weekend he'll help me get some things done around the house and did the whole "it'll all be OK. Don't be sad." thing. Which isn't the most helpful thing but it's a lot better than "stop being so lazy and clean the damn house. Why the fuck is it so messy when this is your only job?" So, progress.
CS/Q: n/a
GTKY: Any fun, exciting weekend plans? If not, what do you wish you were doing? Apparently we're taking the weekend to clean which isn't exciting or fun but it needs to happen. If we get everything done we might start painting which is mildly exciting because I'm ready for our house to not have random white spackle spots everywhere from where the renters hung all the things on the walls.
@AliciaGoose I'm sorry that you're having such a rough TTCAL day. I totally understand how you feel. I keep having those moments where I think about how I should have a newborn right now. Or if my 2nd, 3rd or 4th pregnancies had worked out I'd at least be well into the 1st trimester/ starting the 2nd trimester by now. But no. I'm still here TTC. So I definitely get how you're feeling. I'm not really sure what to say to cheer you up because I know on the really hard days nothing really cheers me up. But know that we're all here to support you however we can and you're definitely not alone in what you're feeling.
So many hugs.

R/R: I have three weeks before school starts for teachers. That's a rant and a rave.
CS/Q: I'm using Wondfos and it says clearly I'm on the package that a faint line is a negative result but the last couple of days I've been getting a line that is still not as dark as the control line but a lot darker than usual. My temp is up from the last few days but only like three and not the six that usually indicate a spike. I've also EWCM the last three days when I haven't seen any since maybe January. Charting is supposed to help you understand your body but let me tell you that my body is still a mystery after 6 months.
GTKY: Any fun, exciting weekend plans? If not, what do you wish you were doing? I'm really hoping for a lady Saturday with DH. Maybe take the dogs to the park to find some Pokemon.
@NamelessAria Hope the EWCM is a good sign for coming O!!

WAYDTGKU: Letrozole (4-8), Pregnyl (if these follicles ever get there), Metformin, PNV, inositol, temping, sex
R/R: Just got home from my follicle scan... My right ovary's follicle has grown and I have even developed a couple other ones on there. The left ovary is sad looking with just one medium-sized follicle over there. The nurse said that I'll probably have to go in again over the weekend since the two biggest ones on my right are at 15mm. Also, my lining thickened up from 5mm to 8mm so that's good too! I'm hoping that I can go in on Sunday and be good to trigger! Overall, the appointment wasn't perfect, but I didn't leave crying like last time so that's a bonus.
I ordered Preseed off Amazon yesterday because I've noticed myself being much dryer than normal so hopefully that helps things, too!

WAYDTGKU: hoping yesterday was O, but still drinking tea because it's yummy!
R/R: Temp spike this morning, which would make yesterday's drop and today's spike fit very nicely with my normal pattern. FX that was actually O!
CS/Q: For anyone who drinks both RRLT and green tea, do you continue either/both during the TWW?
GTKY: Lots of house projects! I'm painting our spare bedroom this weekend. I've been holding onto it for a year now hoping to turn it into a nursery (which obviously hasn't happened). I guess this is kind of my version of not living pregnant until I am. We're going to put our bed in there when our king size is delivered next week. Then I'm hoping that H is going to build me a rack for our coffee cups!
I'm mobile and can't get all of the above to not be green!

Had a full on ugly cry this morning because partner took a steaming hot bath after I'd asked him to shower for the next week or so. He didn't do it maliciously, but jeeze louise, I've had to make so many lifestyle changes even before pregnancy that it was just really defeating to walk into a humid bathroom (with a sopping wet floor, but that's a whole different complaint). On top of that, I'm super disappointed in myself because I've been eating like garbage (although I've been great about exercise, soooo at least I have that going for me). Just ugh.

WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, HIO EOD soon
R/R: Close to fertile window time! Things will be less boring.
CS/Q: I don't know if this is a question or not, but maybe someone has insight? I did my initial CBAD test this morning to get a baseline for estrogen, since I usually O around CD21, although it's been as early as CD 17. So the test is blinking, blinking, blinking, for what seems forever, I'm waiting for a big, empty O, and then BAM, solid smiley. WHAT? My CM is dry as dry can be, has been since AF ended. I think it's a faulty test stick and will test with the regular CB when I get home (and maybe a wondfo), but I told H that we should bone tonight anyway just in case. His response, "Yay. Forced intercourse again." He doesn't do well when he's under pressure. Even if I do O in the next several days, the sperm from today won't go anywhere, they'll get stuck in the crap CM. Is this a non-O LH surge? Wouldn't the CM be at least somewhat good before LH starts to rise, even it is a non-O surge?
GTKY: Any fun, exciting weekend plans? If not, what do you wish you were doing? I'm going to a baseball game tomorrow, which I'm excited for, but I'd be more excited if we had box seats so I could watch from air conditioning. It's going to be a hot, sweaty day.

I do not want to deal with taking an OPK at work. So I take one in the morning (8am) and one when I get home (6pm). Is 6pm too late? GTKY: Any fun, exciting weekend plans? If not, what do you wish you were. I think we are just relaxing and hanging out this weekend. My mom is coming to visit on Sunday so we may have a girls day and get our hair and nails done.
WAYDTGKU: charting temp and CM, PNV, CoQ10, Vitamin B, WaterPik
R/R: I wish Babies R Us was laid out better. I had to buy a bunch of group gifts and I just don't understand why there are towels and sheets and pretty much everything except the big stuff all over the store in like three different places!!
CS/Q: Does anyone else notice their temp dropping before O? If yesterday was it, I seem to have a pattern from last month. I have low temps to begin with and haven't noticed much of a rise, if any, even on days when I drink. I actually got up to pee at 4 am a few days ago and had a lower temp when I took it again at 5.

I just picked up my wedding dress! I left it all wrapped up, but couldn't not take a pic for you all to see! Pictures really don't do this beauty justice. It just sparkles when I move and I love it. Other than staring at it all day and finishing little wedding details, I will be hoping my temp doesn't go up tomorrow morning because I don't want to O early. I am praying I just have two surges this cycle so AF holds out until the end of our honeymoon or even after! I hated my 36 day cycles, but I would give a thing to have one right now!
@artemis618, It's an exciting time for you!
@AliciaGoose, We are here for you!
@ahrains Back pain is no joke! Good luck to your hubby.
@nacl062017 I got CH last cycle with only 3/4 days of temp rise. I say 3/4 because the first two days of the rise had exactly the same temp.

@Artemis618 , I believe ubiquinol is the better absorbing version of CoQ10. There have been some small studies that suggest that it improves egg quality in older rats, although nothing is conclusive yet according to what I've read. That may indeed be helpful to TTC

R/R: OH comes home tonight after being gone all week. Last week was crazy, but we got to spend it all together, so it has sucked being apart since Monday. I'm very glad he's coming home. And even if it's too soon to FWP, I'm looking forward to getting some.
CS/Q: Nope
GTKY: Tonight I'm hosting Bunco, which is always fun. I love to cook for my friends. The rest of the weekend will likely be spent in the pool.
