If my lmp was very short, does that mean I am more than 6 weeks pregnant?

When was the 1st day of your lmp? It's based off that date, unless you know when you conceived

5/25 but it was unusually short. Most of the time it lasts 4 to 5 days. In may it started the night of the 25th and was over by the morning of the 27th.

it doesn't factor in length of period just initial date. you'll have a dating ultrasound to confirm

The length of your period is not a factor in dating your pregnancy.
And unless you have a dating US and it shows more than a 7 day difference between you LMP, then they wont change it.

Are you asking if there is a chance your lmp was not actually a period and you might be further along? Unlikely but possible and there is mo way any of us could know. They will definitely be able to tell you at your scan as you would see much more development then whatever weeks your current EDD is

it goes off of the date of your last period. And my doc said a period is anything you would need to wear a pad or tampon for.

@mackenzie07 - i think OP is wondering if her last period wasnt actually a period becuase it was so Short. Obvs there is no way for any of us internet strangers to know the answer, and it is unlikely but just out of interest sake, wierder things have happened. I started bleeding at 6 weeks and it lasted 9 days. It definitely mimicked a period and they were never able to find out what it was (it wasnt a SCH they looked) if we had not been trying i would definitely have assumed that this was my period, and then would have been about 10w along on finding out, not 4.
