Major Temp Drop Help - I'm Temping Illiterate

Hey Ladies! So this is my first full cycle temping and I feel like I have my head wrapped around the basics but there's still so many questions! So according to FF I O'd on cd33, I had a ton of O pain on cd 32 and think I may have ovulated that day instead. My temps have been steadily increasing the last 5 days but then this morning it plummeted, an entire degree...98.17 to 97.17.
I know a lot of things influence temps and I am a mouth breather so I plan on doing just VT next cycle. Just wondering does this matter? Should I be expecting AF and a short LP? Is it no big deal? I'm not terribly worried either way, just glad I O'd or potentially O'd at least..had a progesterone draw this morning and should know for sure tomorrow

    I always have a fallback around dpo4/5 it's from secondary estrogen surge I believe. Mine then goes back up the day after.

    @SnobunnieMel that was my thought exactly. I almost always had a dip around then associated with some remaining fertile
    looking cm from the secondary estrogen surge

    See secondary estrogen surge...never even heard of it. Thank you @SnobunnieMel and @BornReady! I googled it, obvs, and it seems pretty common. 
    I only did a handful of temps last cycle but as soon as there was a significant dip AF came. So really I just needed to know if I should go stock up on feminine products since I'm running low, but I guess I can put it off another cpl days. You tend to forget about buying stuff when you've only gotten AF 2x in the last 125+ days! And I needed to know if I should google the ish out of short LP remedies  :p

    What the?!? I put in my temp from this morning which went back up after the dip from yesterday and then got a msg saying that FF reevaluated and moved my O date from cd33 to cd22?!

    I think I liked it better at day 33. Because if it's at 22 then I'm definitely out bc I checked this morning (what FF now has as 18dpo) and BFN

    I still think that CD 33 is it. It's only going off of that positive OPK at this point. Temp-wise you were definitely anovulatory up until CD 33.

    Ahh ok. I went in and deleted the positive OPK and it put O day back at cd 33. Alright we're back in business, a BFN at 7dpo I can live with

    @SoonToBeMommaHowe i agree with @BornReady that 33 seems more plausible than 22 but interesting that you got a +opk at 22. fx it was 33 and you're still in the running!
