i'm only a 1/2 cm dilated and the doc probably said that to make me feel better! WTF man?! I know it's around the corner but just a bummer when you think otherwise
WTF to wrong numbers. Some lady called me at 7:45 this morning and woke me up from a sound sleep (had been having issues sleeping last night). I didn't pick up and she left me an angry voicemail about how "I" didn't show up to mow her lawn...did my voicemail message leave any indication that I'm running a landscaping service?!
My boss just asked me if I could cover the customer service department of the office during a meeting next Thursday if I'm still here... She asked it super nice so that's not the WTF...the WTF is my due date is on Monday. I'm hoping to no longer be here by Thursday! Wait & see I guess!
WTF husband?! You had ONE job: bagel with cream cheese, and orange juice. Where was my orange juice which -- given how quickly a gallon disappears lately -- I clearly wanted more than the bagel! Like I know you were kinda half sleep when I asked you, but MAYBE if you had thought to get ME something when you went to get YOURSELF breakfast...
All the texts... Every day. Also people commenting on my moms Facebook, "any baby yet?!" Why people who don't talk to me even care about when my baby comes? DHs grandma texted this morning "I thought he'd be here by now." No duh we all did. I'm trying to find something to post on FB to deter all the comments.
Wtf protesters?! Why do you think it's a great idea to shut down a major roadway? This doesn't help your agenda whatsoever. In fact, it only makes people more angry and less likely to listen to what you are trying to accomplish.
Andplusalso- you could have been stopping someone from getting the urgent medical care they needed. I hope they all get arrested and feel like jackasses.

Are you talking about the protests in Wichita by chance?
@jwittwer last year protesters blocked a highway in Boston and an ambulance had to be diverted. No jail time at all for any of them. Definitely makes me more angry and less likely to listen to them!!
@jwittwer it's so hard to keep up with it all. Just finished reading about it, but in Wichita last night protesters attempted to shut down the highway but were thankfully stopped by a line of state troopers.
Watching videos of the protestors yelling at cops is just sad. I wish they understood that not all cops are bad. Yelling at any cop you see is ignorant and pointless.

Not to mention, they stuck their arms and legs in barrels of CONCRETE on the highway, so it took an extra long time to move them.
@adough27 and @AB34 - I know how you feel. Please see the meme at the end!
@jodi1980 - at least you're dilating?? I'm praying when I go in on Friday there has been some progress. I didn't dilate at all before being induced with DD and am desperately praying for something this time around.
@sboston06 - wrong numbers are the worst. I seem to get weird calls several times a day. It's even worse because my phone number's been part of the DND registry for years. I wish those individuals involved in the protest in Boston had been arrested. It's ridiculous to make the ambulance navigate around the blockade, especially when minutes can mean life or death for someone.
@honeybear40 - I'm so sorry they're making you take on additional things, especially if you won't be around for them.... like HELLO?! This baby really could come at ANY time.
@KASG - Husbands?! Any chance there's a local grocery store that does same-day delivery? I know it won't solve the OJ problem right this second, but it could get it to you without you having to leave the house
WTF to my doctor, I finally met the head doctor today at the clinic, it was the quickest appointment I have ever had. Literally less than 2 minutes between stepping foot inside the door and leaving. He asked how active I was and I told him that I probably should be more active, he interrupts and tells me I need to go for a brisk walk several times a day or else my labor is going to be harder. I didn't even get a chance to say that if I walk longer than 5/10 minutes I do be in agony. I honestly look like an 80 year old woman with two bad hips! For the first time meeting him I found him so rude. Not impressed.
WTF receptionist at my office (who I admittedly don't really like even when not pregnant), "ooohhh, you just look SO done! And are those bags under your eyes? You must be so tired" Listen lady, I'm almost 39 weeks pregnant, its 90 degrees with humidity that's off the chart. Yes I'm fucking done. andplusalso, the "bags" under my eyes is my skin that's discolored from the pregnancy hormones making me look like a raccoon. I'm super self-conscious of it so thanks for bringing that up.
My mom is making me go WTF today. I've already told her that our dog is going to live with my SOs parents after our LO is born. He's not good with kids at all and he's bitten me along with another person before. I can't trust him and it breaks my heart. I've been in tears at least a couple times in the past month thinking about him not being here. She still insists on sending me emails about dogs attacking and killing babies. I'm way too emotional for that right now.
@setosh That's a little harsh, she should really take into account on how stressful it's going to be to part with your dog. There is no need to keep reminding you about what can happen especially when you already have a plan in place. It's heartbreaking of course but you know best. My brothers dog stays in my moms house and although she is friendly and has never bitten anyone she won't be allowed near the baby. The dog has to be kept outside at all times when the baby is in the house. I'm being super cautious but your mom emailing you about that is a bit much!
@LF93 Yeah I agree. It is going to be super hard. He's my first dog and he is honestly like my child. I used to make fun of people who called their dogs or cats "fur babies" but that's really what he is! I'm already scared that someone else will be taking care of him. SOs parents have a dog already and she goes out into the backyard without a leash, but my dog can't do that. I know I'm going to get a phone call from them saying that he got out and ran away. He's gotten out of their house when I was there! They aren't the most responsible with their pets, but he doesn't really have any where else to go except the shelter or another home. I want to at least be able to see him occasionally.
The last time there were major protests going on in my area, they shut down one of the bridges. Which was a total PITA, because there are only two bridges that connect the two states together, and you already deal with 1 to 1.5 hours of traffic just to go less than 5 miles (and that is on a good day). So it was a total nightmare for everyone trying to get back home after work, and everyone was just pissed off at the protestors for ruining their day and their time with their families. It took my friend like 5 hours to get home from work, and she had her four year old in the car with her.
HUGE WTF to everyone who feels the need to comment on the fact that my I don't dress my daughter in a lot of pink. If I have to hear "I'm assuming it's a boy?" again, and then be judged by complete strangers for the fact that "you can't tell! Put some pink on her!" I am going to lose my shit.
@schaze and you know whats crap...Not one person has said that about my son but I have consistently heard people say that about girls! And I have yet to dress by son in a boy themed blue outfit. Everyone correctly assumes he's a boy. What is with that?!
@schaze we were buying sleeping bags for Bean when he gets here. They had some reduced to clear, but they were covered in pink flamingos. I was like who cares, he might love pink flamingos. I was paying and the lady asked 'what are you having? O wait dw it's obvious it's a girl because no one would dress a boy in that.' She was so shocked when I said it was a boy.

I once had DD in a red Adidas tracksuit. The first thing out of my aunt's mouth..."Why do you always have her dressed like a boy?!" Ummmm....last time I checked, 90% of her wardrobe was from the girls section, it just wasn't covered in pink/frills/stupid sayings about being a "princess". And second, when did red become only a boy color?
@schaze that is absolutely ridiculous! My husband bought our baby a onesie with Prince lyrics in purple font (you know, prince's favorite color) and my aunt made a comment how purple is a girl color. I didn't know that pinks and purples were exclusively for girls. Made me so mad!!!!
My WTF is all the phone calls I've gotten today, I'm like:
I had an older lady tell me that she couldn't tell if DD was a boy or a girl because she was wearing purple (lavender with a heart on it) when she was younger. I think she actually called her a boy. People are obnoxious.
@whataboutscience not to compare your DD vs. my dog but rather people's stupidity.....Brooklyn, my female frenchie wears a purple harness and collar when we are out and gets "he" all the time!!!!! Drives me nuts! The best is the harness she had before she outgrew it had flowers all over it.....SMH
@Jodi1980 my mil used to have a british bulldog and mil would dress her up and paint her toe nails etc. I walked her one day, and she was wearing a pink dress that said 'princess' on it, pink toe nails, a pink harness and a pink lead. And people still said 'he'. Multiple times.
@Jodi1980 I have the same problem with my toy fox terrier. She has a pink collar with princess crowns on it, a pink leash, & a pink jacket for walks in the fall/winter months. Still gets referred to as he. All.The.Time.
If it makes y'all feel better I don't dress my dog up but he wears a navy blue collar with fish on it and clearly has a penis yet everyone thinks he's a girl... I guess we can't win.
Re: WTF Wednesday
She asked it super nice so that's not the WTF...the WTF is my due date is on Monday. I'm hoping to no longer be here by Thursday! Wait & see I guess!
*sigh* lemme finish eating. Takes the rage off.
Andplusalso- you could have been stopping someone from getting the urgent medical care they needed. I hope they all get arrested and feel like jackasses.

New fridge was delivered and the delivery guy spent the first 15 seconds of his explanation on how to use the features staring at my boobs.
Yeah, I know they are huge and I did have a wireless bra on that wasn't super padded, so there was probably some nipple outline, but seriously WTF.
