My last beta (on Monday) was 314. How long before it's back to 0? I POAS tonight and the line is still really strong. I've been bleeding since 6/13. Its down to brown blood now. (Sorry, TMI) I can't find anything helpful online so I'm curious about your experience.
I think on average it is about 3-4 weeks, though some girls here had it drop a lot quicker and some a lot slower.
ETA: I never had betas done, and discovered my loss as it was happening. I had a D&C one week after discovering loss of heartbeat. My period showed up exactly 1 month after the D&C, in between 4 and 5 weeks.

Mine was 1700 on Thursday. Geez I hope it drops fast I don't think I can handle having a procedure or something. Makes me worry that yours all are so low. Getting my blood drawn on Friday. Fingers crossed it drops a lot.

@moonlady I wouldn't worry. We are all very different and yours might drop really fast. I've seen people's numbers do all kinds of things and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason behind it. My biggest number was 340, which is really low. I just got the results of beta #7 and it's still not to 0/- yet; it's 29 today. I'm really bummed because I thought it would be and we could start TTC again, but not yet. I have another beta next week. I have a feeling it might be a few more weeks before I'm back to normal. I just want to move on. I put my numbers below for reference. Hang in there, moonlady!
My beta was quite slow to fall after my first loss (discovered at 11w). As in several months slow. My acupuncturist warned me that it would sometimes linger a bit, especially once I was down in the double digits, but as long as it was going down, that was good. I would go in for beta draws and joke with the phlebotomist (in a kind of sick way) about hoping it was down, then they'd catch on that I had a loss, and it was probably not great behavior on my part. It's rough. Hugs.

I am still passing HPT after 1.5 weeks. I have an appointment tomorrow and if they take my blood I will post how much it has gone down. I was hoping by now it'd be very low. Question, do you not get a period until it is 0?
Your cycle can start up before hcg reaches 0, although I think that's not particularly common. I ovulated (confirmed with bloodwork, since I was being monitored by my RE) with hcg in the high 2 digits, and then when AF arrived it was under 10.

Glad to hear it is going down. do you plan on blood testing again? My lab result was in the 60s but then I stopped testing positive on Wondfos so I figured there was no real reason to keep testing until zero, so I have not scheduled another appointment.
@mjolk Thanks gal! I am seeing a fertility specialist. We can't start the next cycle until my numbers are negative so they're monitoring me so we know when to move forward. I have another blood draw on Tuesday (7/19). I think that will be my last. ::fingers crossed::
I wanted to make sure I finished this post in case someone stumbles across it in the future. I just got my final beta...beta blood test #9...it was FINALLY down to 1, which they are considering normal. WOO HOO!!!! To sum it all up, I had a "chemical pregnancy" and basically bled from 6/13/16 until 7/16/16. So it makes sense that I stopped bleeding then finally got a normal hCG level result.
@EverythingsBetterOutside I didn't even know numbers could go up and down like that; I thought they only went one way.
When they went up did you hold on to a little bit of hope that, even though you were bleeding and clotting and lost your pregnancy symptoms, that the pregnancy would still be viable? I did and it made it really hard.
I'm really sorry you had to deal with the ectopic on top of your loss. That had to have been so hard.
Thanks for sharing your information for other ladies that might be searching in the future.
I'm glad it's finally down and you can start a fresh cycle. It took me 20 days to get a negative pregnancy test with my D&C at 13 weeks and it took me 21 days to get a negative pregnancy test and an HCG of <5 with taking Misoprostol for a MMC at 9 weeks.
