Trading in diapers?

If have unopened packages of diapers can I trade them out for a size I need?  Where?

    I got a ton of newborn diapers at my baby shower and my baby ended up needing size 1 pretty quickly. I took the unopened boxes to target and was able to return most of them for store credit or exchange. They will only take the boxes back for brands and sizes they sell so you can always check online first.

    Target and Buy Buy Baby will take them and give you store credit as long as they sell that specific brand/style/box size. My mom tried at BRU and they said they don't do that.

    Walmart will give you the returned $ amount to spend in store.

    I have learned through my mother in laws crazy diaper buying spree they basically anyone will return for the in store credit or exchange for another size
