Very Early BFP (3+2)

So... I got a BFP this morning at 3+2. I've definitely had headaches and I've been nauseous yesterday and today and a few other small symptoms, cramping, etc. I feel like this is really early... I had an early loss in May, but I had a normal cycle in between then and now, and I'm pretty sure I ovulated on my normal schedule (although I could definitely be wrong about that). Has anybody else had an strong positive this early? There's a little voice in the back of my mind wondering if it could be twins, but I know it's waaaay too early to start speculating on that! I probably just ovulated early and/or fertilization happened early.

Just curious to hear others' stories! This will be Baby #2, and this did not happen with my first. My EDD is 3/26.

I have a good and bad story, so I hid it because I'm not sure I should even be saying it.

ETA: do you know when you ovulated? If you ovulated before cd14, you sound good! My story refers to early days post ovulation. Which if you didn't track, you're probably just fine and normal! My first pregnancy I ovulated on CD 12 and got my positive at 3+2!

Possible bad story: The last time I heard of that the blastula had implanted early in the fallopian tube and that's why the test came back so positive so early - because it started making hcg faster.
I hope that isn't the case for you and you have a healthy baby!! I would just keep that in mind for any symptoms you may have in the future.

Hi @kami6887 I've tested positive within the 3 week mark (3w4d and 3w1d) for both of my pregnancies so far as well. I think it's just because I ovulate pretty early. H&H 9 to you!

It's possible the op ovulated earlier than she thought, too, making it more like 10 or 11 so I instead of 8 or 9 to get a positive op. Just adding that to temper the panic she might feel when she reads your post. (Which IS a good thing for anyone with an early bfp to keep in mind, don't get me wrong!)

I'm in the same boat! We were on Clomid 50mg this cycle and I ovulated between days 15 and 17 (according to my OPK) I got my BFP on Saturday which was 3w5d and have had a bunch of symptoms. In 2013 we had an early loss but I didn't have a BFP until week 6 so I'm hoping this is good that it was so strong early on. I guess we just to have faith and trust and see what happens!

FWIW: I did't have any symptoms with my twins until 6 weeks and tested positive at 4dpFET, pregnancy symptoms are funny like that.

I got my BPF at 3w2d. FF thinks I ovulated on CD14 or CD15 (it flip-flops depending on whether I put in a + OPK)

I've had strong symptoms since 2 days before the BFP, only time will tell whether that is a good sign or not! I prefer to stay positive.

Thanks for all the info! I'm already a little on edge, since I had the loss in May, and I'll keep an eye on things. But I'm feeling good and not too worried. I'm hoping my dr gives me a 1st trimester u/s, since I had a loss recently. It's not routine at my dr's office, but I might request one in a few weeks, and see if we can take a peek and make sure things are peachy!

I got my BFP at 3w3d but it was 12dpo because I ovulated on cd13! H & H to you!

Early BFP here too! I got mine yesterday at 2w6d. FF is putting me at 3w0d. I have short cycles, ovulated early (cd10 or 11) and got an early BFP at either 9 or 10 dpo. Not exactly sure of O day since I didn't temp or test this cycle, but we had sex only one time in the window.

Update: Since I had a loss a couple months ago, they wanted to do bloodwork. I did the labwork yesterday at 3+4 and the Progesterone level is 20, and hCG is about 635! So happy to hear that! And I will go back Monday to repeat, and once I reach 3,000 hCG I'll do an u/s. Those are definitely higher than the 3 week range, so I bet I did ovulate earlier than I thought!

I got mine at 3w2d too. Doc suspected twins, but there's just one in there ☺️ I'm measuring three days ahead, so I probably just O'd sooner.

I didn't get my BFP until 12 dpo. I was so worried I was out because so many women were posting their 8,9 &10 DPO BFPs in the Countdown to Pregnancy gallery. I had the symptoms and that pregnant 6th sense so I checked one last time and boom!

I read the averages and they are still 14-15 dpo for a first BFP. I just took another test this afternoon (I have them...why not right?) and it's still a big bold positive even with extremely diluted afternoon urine. I'm taking that as a good sign!

I always get my BFP early. 8 and 9 dpo for my first 2. Later this time at 10 dpo.

I got a very faint BFP at 3w3d and more obvious ones at 3w4 and 5 days. I've never tested before my missed period before, so I don't know if this is normal or not. I know my exact ovulation date though, so I know it's accurate.
