Symptom changes? Starting to feel better. It seems my MS hits at night now, so I get really tired and nauseas just in time for dinner. I've also noticed that if I don't eat every few hours, I get really light-headed and clammy.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm good for now.
GTKY: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first? I eat it all at once! Yum!
Had my first appointment yesterday with my nurse practitioner. Set up 1st US for next Wednesday
Symptom changes?
Nausea comes and goes but haven't thrown up...yet. Boobs still feel like I got hit by a car every morning.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Just happy to have made it to 8 weeks!
GTKY: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first? I love a lot of cupcake with just a little bit of buttercream frosting.
Not sure how big baby is. Edit Apparently as big as a kumquat.
I will only have an appointment this week if I have another reaction to certain meds.
Same stuff-food aversions. Nausea. Fatigue. Insomnia.
No rants or raves. Happy to be this far and hopeful to get the whole way. Edit baby is a fetus this week, no more embryo according to whatever site I was on.
I like the icing/frosting. If there is enough I will pull off the bottom and ice it using extra from the top. If there isn't enough I eat the bottom plain and then savour the top with the frosting/icing. It's like muffin tops-always the best at the top.
All of my bath and body works soaps smell like poo. My husband tells me that they smell fine to him, so it's just me. And I was so excited because I just bought a whole bunch of fun summer scents
Really getting anxious for my 1st ultrasound. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much but I'm really hoping they find a heartbeat.
I bite off the bottom and eat that first. That improves my cake to frosting ratio for the last few bites.
How big is baby? cherry, grape, green olive, southern pecan...
Appointments this week? nope
Symptom changes? A bit of nausea but nothing to write home about - loving ginger ale though
Rant/Rave/Questions? nothing baby related - I just wish students wouldn't try to cheat - I catch them and then it makes more work for me...
GTKY: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first? I love breaking off the bottom and making a sandwich if I can - though if they're small I pop them in one bite

Appointments this week? None this week, but I had my first last Friday which confirmed I ovulated a week later than my LMP would have suggested. But I got to hear the heartbeat!
Symptom changes? Horribly sore boobs and vomiting every hour, at least. Finally at work today, haven't been able to drive for the last 5 days due to vomiting.
Rant/Rave/Questions? My pregnancy is the worst kept secret ever, almost everyone at work knows since they've seen me vomiting around. Sigh. At least they're being nice to me.
GTKY: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first? Both together! Though I'd rather have just cake than just frosting.
Appointments this week? Just had my first US to give me a due date. I got to see baby for the first time and since we usually wait for the 20 week US, this was pretty special for me.
Symptom changes? Still nauseous and fatigued, but nice to know that maybe in 4-5 weeks, it will subside.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Has anyone felt a numbness in their legs? My right lef, upper thigh and sometimes down the whole leg feels numb to touch... I can feel cold or heat on it, but it jut feels so odd. It felt like the starting effects of the epidural.
GTKY: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first? I usually don't eat a lot of the frosting, but when I am in the mood, I eat the frosting first!
Appointments this week? It's a busy week for appointments. I have another ultrasound at the RE's office tomorrow morning, then my first midwife appointment on Thursday.
Symptom changes? I'm not having to pee as much at night which is nice. The nausea is still there but being controlled well with the Diclectin.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Just tired of my husband acting like a moron this week.
GTKY: Do you prefer eating the frosting of the cupcake or eating the cupcake first? We were just talking about this at work today! I like to break off the bottom half of the cupcake and put it on top of the frosting making a "sandwich".
