Amazon prime day

has anyone heard if they're doing any baby deals for prime day? I'm trying to decide what video monitor I might want incase those go on sale, we had a Motorola video monitor for DD but it broke... So I'm thinking maybe a nest camera in both rooms,... I'm trying to build my registry so I can check on any of those items too, but with it being a second kid I don't even know what I'll need again haha! Our play mat, pnp, and car seat are all still useable and since we don't know gender I feel like blankets and such aren't an option.... What are you guys thinking of doing, if anything?

PS sorry I have been a ghost lately!!!!!! I feel like a jerk for not investing more time in this community, but one year olds are needy guys - and mine has been obsessed with mommy lately (which tbh I kinda love)

I'm so overwhelmed. I saw a list of single strollers, pack n play type things and convertible car seats that'll be on sale but we need like, 2 of everything and I'm so tempted to shove my head in the sand.....

do they have consignment sales near you? Maybe you can hit those up?? Maybe you get one pnp and then 2 of something less expensive like the rock n play for naps. We loved our rock n play for my daughter

I had my eye on a Dyson vacuum cleaner, but the deal was for a refurbished one. And I can get a new one from Sam's Club for the same price. All the Prime Day 'deals' we got last year was total crap. The price wasn't that great compared to non Amazon. And the stuff they sucked you in with was total cheap quality

Like @susykat77 said, where are you seeing lists of what will be on sale. I am hit or miss with Amazon but we have prime and some of the deals we've found have been great. There are others that if you do your research you can find cheaper elsewhere (but my have to pay shipping). We have a few things we are looking for and have been putting off ordering, waiting until tomorrow but this is our first year and I have no idea what to expect. I do have my eye on a new diaper bag (it's not that expensive normally) and hoping they have some of the baby basics on sale tomorrow.

@Renee1105 I thought the same thing. But holy crap I used the ever living day lights out of prime the last 2 years with my daughter. Plus the diaper deals with Amazon mom and cheaper than any coupons you could find. Totally worth it to me.

-Select Baby
-Click upcoming

You should see most of what's due to run tomorrow! Amazon general preview their deals about 24 hours in advance. Note: it won't include the prices. They're may some that aren't previewing but it worked for me on the .com and .co.uk sites

If anyone is looking for a convertible car seat, it looks like most of the Evenflo models are set to go on sale tomorrow. We LOVED our Evenflo. We skipped the infant carrier for my first and just used that one from the start. He still loves it and it seems super comfy!

I'll definitely be checking it out, but last year was such a disappointment that I'm not holding my breath. We will still have plenty of time to cash in on black Friday/cyber Monday sales so I'm not feeling too pressured to buy much just yet.

FYI if you're on Amazon prime family and subscribe to diapers you save 55% today. I signed up for subscriptions on sizes 1-4 and 1 box for my daughter and each box was 21 dollars shipped vs 48 normally!!! You can cancel the subscriptions after the first month

Some of the deals today haven't been too bad. It felt like last year was like "10% off dog whistles!" "35% off at-home soldering kit!" or whatever lol. Got a couple of items that were on my registry, including a diaper bag, swaddlers, and the Bebea Babycook (I've been eyeballing that for a couple of weeks, yay for making your own baby food)

I'm confused about the diaper deal. I have Amazon mom and already have a subscribe and save schedule, so if my next delivery is in August and I add it to my subscribe and save today, will they still apply the 35% off when they ship my August subscription? It doesn't seem like they would, but that's the only way I would be able to stack the subscription and the prime day deal.

@silvercamaro77 I'd call Amazon and check, in most cases they'll want to help the customer and should apply that discount!
