Winston is going on for his helmet evaluation with a craniofacial specialist at the local children's hospital for plagiocephaly and I was hoping to just hear anyone experience
One of my twins wore a helmet (actually 2) for almost a year. We didn't get him the helmet until he was 6 months so we didn't have perfect results, though he had a severe flat spot and we did see vast improvements. He wasn't pleased with the helmet the first day but quickly got used to it and really liked it. It was actually really helpful as he started to crawl and then walk, because it cushioned his head when he fell. I decorated the helmet according to holidays/seasons, it was cute.
Re: Plagiocephaly- any helmet babies out there?
