Thoughts and Prayers appreciated

today I had an ultrasound showing I'm at 6 weeks 1 day and there was no visible heart beat, I go back in a week for a follow up ultrasound, really scared and sad right now, hoping for the best. Doc said it could be too early to see it or it could be a miscarriage. Any thoughts/prayers or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated! Thank you ladies!

For what it's worth, I had four ultrasounds and was 8 weeks along before they found a heartbeat for my little that is turning a year in September. Sometimes, they just need more time.

Thoughts and prayers, and I think 6 weeks is the minimum for seeing a heartbeat, plus the dating is estimated so you may be a couple days behind what you think

With my LO we had our first ultrasound showing 5 weeks and some odd days and there wasn't a heartbeat, Drs told me the pregnancy was probably not viable. I know how you feel right now, it's so scary and depressing when you are preparing for the worst but holding on to every last bit of hope. We ended up seeing the heartbeat at our next ultrasound and I am praying that the same goes for you. Don't lose hope, you never know what tomorrow may bring.

Thank you guys so much, you have made me feel a ton better, I just really wasn't ready to hear that I may be miscarrying, I was under the impression that it was just too early, he told me that we should definitely see a heartbeat by 7 weeks so I am praying we do see one! Thank you again everyone for the encouragement!

With my daughter my doctor wouldn't do an ultrasound before 7 weeks because he said it would be too early. When I went at 7w 2d her heartbeat was loud and strong! I'm praying the same happens for you!
