Fruit pieces, shredded cheese, Cheerios, fruit to go bars. We don't do many snacks though, usually just to tide him over if we're running late to meal times.
We're not doing any grains so mostly just fruits. Freeze dried fruits. Fresh berries.
My daughter seems to really love olives so I slice them very thin and she loves to eat them.
We also have a silicone mesh feeding thing (kidsme is the brand) and I'll put frozen fruits in there and my homemade nut cheeses in it as well. Pediatrician just recommended adding nuts into her diet to avoid allergies and I think she would have a hard time eating nut butters so I mix nuts with water and add spices (there's recipes online for nut cheeses).
But we typically don't do snacks it's just to keep her occupied with something occasionally if I need more time to get something done.

Yogurt melts, Cheerios, coconut milk bites, blueberries, baby cookies, mozzarella. Whatever is convenient and not messy. We will feed her the messy stuff (fruit squeeze pouches, avocado, strawberries) because I don't want to deal with the mess and school won't.
I know my pediatrician was okay with letting him have peanut butter months ago. Just like with germs you can't build an immunity to something without be exposed to it.
@kmcshane0211 I can't say I'm an expert on the matter and I'm sure all pediatricians have different guidelines. But according to our pediatrician, the latest research she has seen seems to support early exposure for allergy prevention rather than holding off. So she told us to go ahead and introduce nut products.
I haven't given peanuts though. Peanuts (actually a legume not a nut) are susceptible to mold and I myself don't often eat them. I'm sticking to nuts like almonds, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc.

Nut butter on strips of toast, slivered almonds in salad or cereal, and crushed in baked goods. Whole nuts are a choking hazard til age 3-5 depending on how reliably they chew. With DD1 I split whole nuts once she had molars. Around 3ish she could eat whole nuts properly.
Thanks, I just hadn't gotten there yet but I don't want to wait too long, I'll have to at least try the toast strips, I was thinking shelled sunflower seeds wold be small enough but I'd worry about her swallowing whole instead of chewing and getting them stuck in her throat
