My fiance's best friend and my brother are throwing him a un-baby shower, really more of a poker party Its going to be really low key, I think just 10-12 guys, they are all bringing a pack of diapers and a pack of beer.
I think its nice that he gets to be celebrated too! He isn't a big party person but he is excited and its cute.
DH's work buddies are throwing a diaper party, but I think some ladies (including myself) will be there. His friends are also throwing a barbecue shower that includes all the couples! I'm excited for both and that he'll be celebrated along with me!
My shower when I was pregnant with my daughter was co-ed. It was BBQ themed and there was plenty of good food and alcohol to go around. It was perfect for us.
Wish this was a gif party of men in the shower.. jk jk, I have to be careful enough with all of my bumping at work.
Last pregnancy my husband's work gave him a really nice baby gift (They had planned a shower but didn't quite pull it together until the baby was born). He's at a new location of the same company this time around and they've mentioned to him that they want to do something as well. I love the dads being celebrated! One of his coworkers is knitting a hat that will look like a blueberry (Maine is like blueberry country).. I'm pretty pumped.
So much attention is on me during this pregnancy (for damn good reason lol) but I do think its important that he gets celebrated too because becoming a dad is a big deal!
There are loose plans to do the same thing as @Megan324, a poker party where they bring a pack of diapers. I had mentioned to H that I read about that type of dad party online and then two days later he says like 5 or so people are in. I'm not going to intrude at all but I think he is throwing it for himself, eh it's guys they probably don't care about who the host is. I know he was bummed neither of the family showers are co-ed. He hinted to his mom that's what he wanted but I think it was way too subtle.
As I am work bumping as well @AnnaS930 here is the only man shower gif I can do...

guys usually don't care (or even know) about the etiquette. My fiance definitely doesn't lol. I feel as if I am constantly explaining to him why invitations need to be sent at a certain date and why showers aren't thrown by the mom to be.
I asked DH if he wanted his own party and he was like "why?". He pretty much said that this was our baby so we should have a shower together, which is totally fine by me. Not to mention his best friends are his brothers mostly, and they are absolutely shit at planning things, DH had to plan his entire bachelor party because they dropped the ball.

My husband didn't have a man-shower, per sey, because there were no gifts and he threw it himself, but he had male friends and family overto our house while I was at my baby shower. He made ribs and provided beer. He really enjoyed it.
My husbands coworkers are doing a beer n diapers at a bar down from the office. He was surprised when I told him (they told me to tell him) and looks forward to just hanging with the guys. All we (he) is bringing is a cake.
They are all coordinating with emails, drives me insane when I have a cute evite I wanna use but since I'm not throwing it I'm backing off... my eye is twitching but I'm leaving it alone.
We are having a Co-Ed shower like some other posters. DH is super excited about it. We are going to have a diaper raffle and have some guy prizes available
DH's coworkers threw him a shower. Technically, it was for both of us since I was invited, but really it was for him. I thought that was really sweet.
Our actual shower was co-ed, so he came to that one, too, but I don't consider that anything other than a regular old baby shower (I don't understand the women only thing at all and was completely against the idea of going that route since all my friends are guys and I wanted them there.)
@AnnaS930 I wanted the meme with the whole thing but for some reason it was blurry! As soon as I saw "man shower" I said to myself, "an hour long shower with guys."
Bahahha im texting my husband now to see what he thinks about Astird. That's one of my favorite moments from that show.
Another favorite moment was the end of the show when Dwight is listing and describing the people he works with and he said, "Jim is married to Pamela Beasley Halpert...my best friend." That was one of the best things they could've said.

Oh so absolutely agreed. I've got to watch it all again. I'm still a little bitter with a few places the show went after Michael left, but it would be worth it to get all of the tender moments again
@KimmySchmidt that is awesome! My parents bought ours, I was really excited because I was going to try to go with our single and wear the baby, but I was a little nervous about how that would go. I love the double though!
