Cold remedies

What are your favorite cold remedies suitable for the next 9 months? My sinuses have me down and there miiiight be glass in my throat. Bonus points if you include your favorite website for checking if meds/foods are safe:)

    I buy a whole rotisserie chicken and take all the meat off and use it for salads or tacos (or use for the soup ) , etc. Then I put the whole carcass in the crock pot with water, whatever veggies I have, garlic, onion, pepper, and cook it on low over night. Strain all the stuff out, stick the broth in the fridge and then skim the fat off later with a spoon. 

    Just google bone broth recipes. I don't make it the same way every time, lol.

    I like to use Bragg's organic apple cider vinegar as a cold remedy. I add a tablespoon to one cup of hot water, a squeeze of lemon and some honey. Some people take a shot of it straight but I wouldn't recommend it.

    Because I am bad at following directions, I one time drank ACV straight from a glass (stupid, I had no idea that wasn't how people do ACV). I was violently ill for quite a while. Maybe a teaspoon diluted in water wouldn't be such a bad idea:)
