What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Better choices for snack foods. And to keep the weight gain under control.
What is your fitness goal this week? Running 5 times this week.
Any challenges this week? I hurt my knee last week, so running has been a challenge. I found my knee brace and I'm going to try to work through it.
How did you do with your goals last week? My child was up early almost every day last week, so I didn't do that well with exercising. Food was fine until this weekend. My in-laws are in town, so I've been eating a lot more desserts than I should. GTKY: What is your favorite picnic/outdoor party food? Cucumber sandwiches and watermelon.
What is your health/nutrition goal this week? Minimize my sugar intake. Drink lots of water. Listen to my body and eat intuitively.
What is your fitness goal this week? Take the dogs for more walks, even if they're quick ones. Get back to doing my prenatal barre DVD.
Any challenges this week? I think I just need to get better about adding in small amounts of exercise (short dog walks, 15 min segments of a workout DVD, etc) when I don't have a huge chunk of time. Also, I've had a major sweet tooth lately but I've noticed my body isn't responding well to sugary things. If I eat a sugar-heavy snack during the day, I crash and get tired and irritable later. If I eat dessert too close to bed, I get RLS and can't fall asleep.
How did you do with your goals last week? Don't remember my goals, but I'm pretty proud of how our weekly meal planning is going. We've been saving a ton of money and it motivates us to make healthier food choices too. Plus, the new Sprouts opened up like 3 minutes from our house which is amazing!!! GTKY: What is your favorite picnic/outdoor party food? I just like side dishes in general. I make this corn, avocado & tomato salad for BBQs that's delish!

Any challenges this week? Well, I missed my Monday Zumba class because the Y was closed for the 4th. That was a bummer. And it's been raining everyday here in the afternoon (like from 4/5ish to 7ish), so that makes it difficult to find motivation to exercise.

We did a huge Waffle House breakfast on Sat and it was all downhill from there. I have been eating constantly and not drinking water like I should. I was really slack on my workouts too, maybe 2 last week GTKY: What is your favorite picnic/outdoor party food? I love potato salad, macaroni salad, Cole slaw. Basically anything with massive amounts of mayo.

Any challenges this week? It's just hot. So hot. I'm sweating as I sit here on the couch.. And I'm only half dressed.
How did you do with your goals last week? Meh. I did okay. With it being a holiday weekend, and being up north camping with friends, I didn't eat the greatest. But, I did only have 1 s'more haha.
