does anyone have any experience with either one?? I can think of good reasons for both. If anyone has any expirence with the folding one (material same as adult folding chairs) do you think it will last weight wise as LO gets bigger? (LO is 23lbs now as it is)? Any brand recommendations for either one?? Thank you!!
Re: Travel folding highchair v. Travel highchair that hooks onto table
@xJKxOR thank you! Ill have to look into that... I have only seen the one that looks like an adult camping chair but has the long legs.
we have the hook on one we use for going out to eat or going over to someone's house. We keep it in the car. We really like it bc we are germ freaks and don't like LO sitting in high chairs a million other kids have used and most likely aren't clean. My only negatives are it works with certain tables but not all. I.e. If table is too thick you can't hook it on. If food gets on the fabric it's harder to wipe off. Luckily it's machine washable. Also, when DD was using it and got older I was always worried she was going to tip the table over. We always slide a chair over LO and DH sits across to hold down table if it has a single base instead of four legs.
We also have the one that straps onto a dining chair that we use at home. It is easy to wipe down and has removable trays. My only negative is LO can pull off the removable tray sending food flying if you aren't close by!
Hope this helps!
