Smash Cake Outifts

So hubby decided he liked the smash cake outifts & wants me to get one for the boys. 

Where are you ladies getting your LOs smash cake outfits? I need a customized one & never shopped on Etsy & dont really know how it works. Help? Or are there other websites or stores that make them?

    Etsy. I get so much stuff on etsy. I have always had a great experience. The app is the easiest way to look and order. I have already ordered 2 outfits for his pics but I think I may get this for the cake portion.

    My husband didn't want to do a party because we haven't spoken to his parents since January, and he says it would feel weird to have a celebration without them there. But the holidays will be coming up anyway so it's inevitable, so I think I'm going to do something after all. My son has lots of people who love him and he deserves to be celebrated. My in laws have taken enough away from us, I can't let them take this too.

    @kabaczewski i agree with you! You cant stop doing things because you dont talk to your in-laws. I know hes probably hurt but he has to think of your LO. It sounds harsh but life goes on. i would be upset if i wouldnt be able to celebrate my kiddos birthdays. Kudos to u momma.

    I'm making Noah a Mickey Mouse shirt and outfit for the day and pictures but I plan on doing something like one of theses for the smash cake

    Omg these are so cute. I have a photag friend who is doing a smash cake shoot for us so I am going to try and find a Harry Potter outfit for him!

    Boys are so much easier I think. I just had my son in a diaper cover and hat. But it feels weird to just put my daughter in a tutu? Idk? Is it just me? Definitely following this thread.

    I guess oversized beads are a thing? I dunno, this is all I've found so far... If anyone lose has better ideas let me know, lol I guess I could do this with black and yellow, maybe white wings for a bee theme? I was going to make her a little crown with antennae anyways...

    Just out of curiosity, are these outfits for a cake smash photoshoot, or are the babies going to be wearing these at their birthday parties? I have no clue how I want to dress my son at his party. Lol

    @sketner610 just the photoshoot for me. Look at google images for boy cakesmash, sooooo cute! For his party I bought a raglan baseball shirt with his name on the back and the word one on the front. And his cake smash at the party he will just be in a diaper. 

    @mrsmctaggart6 a bumble bee or lady bug would be soooooo cute!! We went to a bug themed party once where everyone made little bugs out of their thumbprints. You could make it a garden and bugs theme?

    These are the two outfits I am getting. I keep going back and forth over which to do for the party and which for her smash cake pictures.

    I was thinking queen bee theme cuz her daddy keeps bees and she can finally have honey, I love the thumbprint idea, roo took beekeeping classes in my belly and loves going to the supply store (it's all yellow with bee stuff everywhere) so I thought it would be a good fit
