Anything baby-related this week? I got DH to take Wednesday off and we will be getting the car seats installed professionally in both of the cars, go to a midwife appointment and then go to centrelink and organise parental leave. Woo.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? I'm just uncomfortable. Haven't been having too many bad symptoms, just sore and fat. My sister ran a marathon yesterday and I went to watch which involved lots of walking. That was painful.
GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least? the bump and the movement even though it hurts. I will not miss the pain in my hips and the inability to get comfortable anywhere. I just want to be able to sit on a couch without fidgeting. We went to a friends house and I ended up having to lay on the floor because I couldn't get comfortable anywhere else. They've got a 10 month old so they were very understanding which is good.
Anything baby-related this week? My first weekly appointment is Thursday. My mom is here trying to help me prepare for the baby's arrival.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Painful tingly fingers along with the usual: pelvic pain, RLP, heartburn, insomnia...
GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least? I'll miss people being so nice and accommodating. I do also enjoy going to the doctor... I won't miss the above symptoms.
Anything baby-related this week? Just my weekly appointment. My hospital bag is packed and we're ready to go. Just waiting for the baby at this point
Baby is still frank breech, so we have a scheduled c/s for the 20th unless baby flips. My doctor doesn't think I'll make it to that date, but we'll see. Last week I was 1cm dilated and 80% effaced. I know this may not mean anything, but in my mind I feel like things may happen any second
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? I can't rant enough about this hip pain... And the lightening crotch! Oh and swollen feet and hands.
GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least? Most: definitely feeling the baby move Least: again, the hip pain. I would also add not being able to sleep, but I have a feeling that will only get worse once the baby is here
Anything baby-related this week? Another weekly appointment, whether I get around to booking it. I went through my hospital bag again and bought a nice pink gown to wear around the hospital.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? People need to start realising that stress isn't good for me, them adding to it isn't cool! Period type cramps, sore back, lots of discharge (ew, I hate that word) just feeling tired and crappy in general. No Raves this week! Also had an appointment last Wednesday where the hospital informed me that they won't do the GBS test and what I thought was baby's head nestled in near my hip is actually his shoulder! YAY
GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least Ill miss feeling him move definitely but at the same time his kicks and punches startle me sometimes and hurt too. I'll miss the excitement feeling, especially from friends and family! As soon as baby comes all the attention will be on him but that's the point, right! I won't miss the aches and pains, everything that goes with it basically! I'm hoping I make it to my dues are without anymore stretch marks, I was lucky to only have one on my belly button but I've started to get several in my live handles. I'm sure they'll fade though!
Anything baby-related this week? I have what I hope is my very last appointment Thursday. I am hoping to go in be like three cm dilated and have the midwife say it's go time. I'm kind of hoping for a 7/7 baby since she would be the 7th kid but at the same time not sure I'm ready yet.
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Insomnia and having to pee every half hr at night is breaking me emotionally. I've been so moody and tired and irritable. I feel for my family. I keep promising that when the baby is here it will be better. I'd rather wake up to nurse a newborn than have to keep walking to the bathroom.
GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least? I don't really enjoy being pregnant. I love the anticipation of a baby and raising another child and adding to our family, but I really don't care for pregnancy at all. I feel bad admitting that every time knowing how many people struggle to get pregnant and keep a pregnancy, but it's the truth. I want to say I'll miss the kicks but I enjoy the baby outside not in. Clearly I will not miss having to pee so much at night, the heartburn, not being able to order a cocktail, moving freely. This is our last and I will miss that this time in my life is over and I will never do it again though. It's bitter sweet. I'm not sure we are done adding to our family, but I do know that I am done with being pregnant any more.
Mom to Emma, Noah, Isaac, Asa, Asher, Jonah and expecting baby Alice 7/16
Anything baby-related this week? Weekly check-up (7/5)
Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Rant/Rave:THANK GOD I've been able to poo and that continues! I've notices sometimes a misinterpreted contraction when lying down is usually a gas bubble although last night it was DEFINITELY contractions!
GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least? Miss the most, HAHAHAHA Least: EVERYTHING! Just want LO to be healthy and safe!
How many weeks? 36 weeks like most of the rest of you lovely ladies that are still here! Anything baby-related this week? Doc appointment on Thursday where they'll begin cervical checks. C'mon, ute. Here's to hoping you dilate and efface without being induced this time around! Rants/Raves/Symptoms? Nothing too exciting here. I am having the hardest time getting comfortable enough to fall and stay asleep. I've recently begun getting up a million times a night to pee as well (I know.. I'm thankful it had lasted this long). GTKY: What will you miss the most about being pregnant? The least? I haven't quite decided if this will be our last (though I have said I didn't want to be pregnant again during this pregnancy-- contradictory, I know. But we've all had these moments!), so this is a loaded question for me. I will definitely miss the kicks. I will definitely NOT miss the heartburn.
