Hello all,
I'm new here and don't know all of the lingo yet but will work on learning those. My DH and I have been ttc for over a year now with a few 6 wk cycles that made us very hopeful just to get a BFN. A few months back we went to the obgyn for some answers/guidance/help/all of the above. From everything I'd read online I thought he'd say shed a few pounds, exercise and try to be less stressed out... False. After a multitude of questions from him and answers from us, it was clear to me that he had some suspects and was not going to tell us to go to the gym more... There's much more that's happened but that seems like a lot for a quick hello...
Anyway, we are building our home which serves as somewhat of a distraction and we are thrilled about and have been lucky enough to meet many of our neighbors. However we've learned after "welcome to the neighborhood" comes the dreaded question "do you two have any kids?..." " No, no we don't, we needed a nice place to raise them first (insert half smile here)" seems like an easier answer for now.
Currently I'm waiting a month due to healing from laposcrapy, additional dye test and endometriosis procedure. Then Continuing on with Chlomid due to PCOS diagnosis... The waiting a month is killing me!
I'm looking forward to having a group of ladies to share with and support. This is something that's hard to explain to most people. I hope that we are all here just long enough to encourage eachother through the journey! Good luck to all!
Re: Welcome to the neighborhood (Newbie-PCOS)
Married in 2014
TTC for 10 months--No response to Clomid 50, 100, 150
June 2016--PCOS dx
July 2016--7.5 mg Letrozole--Ovidrel 7/6--TI--BFP
It's good to have a distraction going through this process, it's too bad that talking about children seems to be everyone's go-to get to know you topic
Have fun working on your house and making it your own personal sanctuary
