Hi ladies so I've come to join you my DH and I have been TTC for just over a year now we've booked an appointment with our doctor on the 13th but very nervous and unsure exactly what to say or ask any advice? Hope everyone's stay here is short and sweet baby dust to us all

    Hello and welcome. At this point you should ask for a fertility work up. Usually that means hormones are checked, an u/s is ordered, an hsg is done and an SA for your partner. Your doc may want to send you straight to a fertility specialist for testing.  I was excited to get testing done because I wanted answers. Good luck with everything!
    TTC since May 2015 with domestic partner of 13 years. Me 33 OH 33.  No ovulation or natural menstruation. Normal SA.
    Diagnosed PCOS February 2016
    First cycle 50mg Clomid 5/3/16, O'd CD 19 BFN
    Second cycle 50mg Clomid 6/1/16 O'd CD 18 BFN
    Third cycle Clomid 6/29/16 O'd CD 16 BFP @11dpo!
    EDD April 3 and praying things work out!

    When we went to the first appt. I was nervous too... What if I miss something... That's all I kept thinking. But our Doctor made me feel very comfortable with the tons of questions he asked. I don't think he could have missed anything. You quickly realize how many people go through this initial step and that they seem to know where to start. Like @Ducks&Cats mentioned you'll likely be put through some testing. My Dr. Called it the 30 Day Challenge (makes it sound fun) ;)
    Good luck with your appt! Everyone is different but to me it felt relieving just to know we were doing something, I hope you get the same feeling!
