What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix?

Most recently I watched Barkely Marathons and that was pretty random and awesome! I don't run but kinda love adventure movies/tv.  It was great...so extreame. If anyone remembers eco challenges from back in the 90s its a little like that...extreme challenges with out as much of the politics and reality tvness.

Thanks for starting this board! I'll be a July IUI but don't have any dates yet. CD1 should be within the next week or so. Then starting on  Clomid, Ovidrel, Progesterone & Gonal-F. This is my first round of anything. Very new to infertility.

Most random (awesome) thing I ever binged on Netflix was 'Making a Murder'. Very interesting!!

    GL to everyone this cycle!

  • I have posted on April, May, June and now July IUI boards hoping that at some point we actually get to DO one! FX July is our month?

This cycle was weird. I went in on CD 39 to consult with RE and she prescribed provera to end the cycle - two days later (before I had picked up my rx), I got my period - it was brown and clotty but required a pad so I called it CD1. Went in for a US and blood draw. Lining looked good like it had shed, but my progesterone levels were very, very low. RE said to take the Provera and come back. I'm CD 50 right now and expect to have my period around CD 60.

Month/Cycle: I honestly don't even know about this point. According to FF I am on my 16th cycle (17th would be the IUI) and month 51.

CD or DPO: Im a still taking provera. CD 50.

WAYDTGKU: This cycle we're doing Gonal-F + Follistim + Progesterone. Both Clomid & Femara did not work for my cystic ovaries.

    IUI Date: Unknown

    Testing: Unknown

What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix? Gosh - Maybe Making a Murderer.

FX for tons of BFPs this month!!

  • Month/Cycle: 2nd cycle of IUIs, 7th month of infertility treatments

CD or DPO: waiting for next cycle to begin

WAYDTGKU: prenatal vitamin, vitamin d, femara + estradiol, then progesterone post iui

IUI Date: tbd but probably 2nd or 3rd week of July

    Testing: tbd

What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix? I'm not with the times and don't have Netflix! My hubby says I watch enough tv

hoping we all will get our BFPs this month!!
  • Hi, just got my negative beta earlier today so onto IUI#3 for me!

    Month/Cycle:
20/24 not counting July (had to look that up, lost count!)

CD or DPO: Stopped estradiol and progesterone today, now waiting for AF so I can officially start July's cycle

WAYDTGKU: This cycle the plan is to try femara instead of clomid in hopes that my lining fares better, and progesterone after the IUI. Taking prenatals, omega-3's, ubiquinol. Drinking raspberry leaf tea and pom juice before O to help lining (they didn't seem to help last time but I like the taste just fine so still giving it a try). Also acupuncture every couple weeks.

    IUI Date: TBD

    Testing: TBD

What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix? Hmmm...maybe Twin Peaks? That was a strange show.

    Good luck everyone!!!

Month/Cycle:TTC over year and 1/2, going through infertility treatments about 6 months, doing 2 IUI as of now, my body could decide otherwise.

CD or DPO: I had to go check I'm on cycle 6 and my 3rd day of Clomid.

WAYDTGKU: doing Clomid with a trigger shot, taking prenatials and started acupuncture last cycle, not my favorite but will go bac and still try.

  • Month/Cycle: 16 months TTC, but 3 cycles have been with infertility help. 2nd IUI done yesterday 070116 wish us luck!

CD or DPO: currently on CD 13. Did IUI yesterday on CD 12 I guess my follicles were mature and ready to go at 19mm and another at 16mm so we triggered and are hoping for the best!

WAYDTGKU: I'm taking prenatal vitamin with DHA as well as a Co Q10 supplement. I started working out at the gym and have cut down on drinking and eating cookies!

IUI Date: yesterday was IUI #2.... July 1st.

Testing: I will pee on a stick in about 2 weeks!

What is the most random thing you’ve ever watched all the way through on Netflix? I have never watched anything all the way through on Netflix.... How random is that?

I also wanted to add that I have DOR diminished ovarian reserve.
Me: 35 DOR, low AMH = 0.694, and fibroids
    DH: 41
    Married 10/25/2014 / TTC since 05/2015
    1st IUI 05/05/16 Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN
    2nd cycle on Letrozole 7.5 mg CD 3-11 + TI = BFN
3rd cycle on Letrozole but did our 2nd IUI on 07/01/16. 10 mg CD 3-11 + Ovidrel = BFN
Onto IVF! Started Lupron on 09/24. Added Gonal F and hcg injections 09/26...... Trigger 10/07. EggRetrieval 10/09. Starting PIO, Estrace, and Medrol 10/10/16. Transferred 2 "strong/beautiful" embryos 10/14/16. Beta 10/28/16 = 998 mIU/mL = BFP with one baby, but miscarried at 9w5d.
D&C on 12/06/17 and started taking BCPs 01/10/17 for the next IVF Cycle, which officially began stims on 02/18/17.
Fast Forward: we got 4 fertilized embryos from that cycle. Transferred one fresh, but it did not stick, so we have 3 frozen embryos currently. Went in to the fertility clinic in July to talk about a FET of one of those three frozen embryos, but a new fibroid was discovered, and I was not cleared to do the transfer until I had fibroid removal surgery.
08/11/17 had a mini-laparotomy / myomectomy to remove 6 fibroids, largest sized were the size of golf-balls! Once we were cleared to go about our normal lives (sex!) I got pregnant NATURALLY but it was a chemical pregnancy. The very next month we had another BFP and here we are now with a baby on the way! A TOTAL AND COMPLETE MIRACLE!

  • Hello again ladies. We're finally ready to start our first IUI. We were given the go ahead for June but didn't have the money saved up. So now we are ready! After 3 months on Clomid and only ovulating once we are ready to try something new. I was diagnosed a year ago with PCOS.

Month- 29 months off the pill, 22 months actively trying.

CD-26 feeling like AF is coming but they usually end up having to give me provera on day 40 to induce. We will see.

WAYDTGKU- prenatals, fertilaid, femara, trigger shot, IUI

IUI date- middle to end of July

    Testing- Mid cycle ultrasound

Netflix- I wouldn't say I've really watched anything strange. Just the popular shows like Sons of Anarchy, Orange is the New Black, Greys Anatomy

Good luck to all. Hopefully this is the month for a whole bunch of BFPs!!!! FX!
  • @elisam511 thx for the input! I usually have pain as I'm pretty sensitive but this was a bit more constant, praying I'm developing a great egg or 2 would be even better :). Hoping ur IUI is a huge success!!!  I believe I have DOR as well but not all 3 that determine it fully.  I have low AMH, do really hoping I hit the jackpot soon!! It's tough cause that not the reason it's not working, I should've been pregnant already, here's hoping!!!

@lady_grey that's pretty exciting u have insurance that's even willing to cover ivf.  It's tough finding that i was searching with still no success.  Why must everything be so expensive :(

  • Taking the month of July off from treatments, but just wanted to wish everyone good luck this cycle!
  • @ejmacias It looks like we are very close to the same cycle days! This is also my first IUI with Femara. Clomid didn't work for me. I only ovulated once out of 3 cycles on it.

AF arrived today. I just talked to the nurse on call this morning and she is calling in the Femara to start on Wednesday. And we set up the mid cycle ultrasound Friday the 15th. So if all looks good IUI would be Saturday the 16th. I'm excited, yet super nervous. This is a lot of money to spend when you have no guarantees. Fx and good luck everyone!
  • @mmd1986 thanks Hun wishing u some relaxation and much success in ur next cycle!!
@Toby102008 it really is so expensive and time consuming and frustrating BUT when we get out miracle it will all be worth it, let's keep telling ourself that!!! Good luck!!!

I got the call and I'm good to take my trigger tonight, however my OH is away on business and first have to make sure he's gonna be back in time!! Don't need this extra stress but hoping for the best.

we up'd my dosage this cycle but not sure it helped my right ovary my last couple of cycles seems to be sleeping had one folli at 10, my left side had a whole bunch :) but only one at 27 which seems pretty big and ready to go on its own right?? Have another at 15 so I'd love if that one would catch up!  Had another 5 less then 13/10 whoa!!! Makes me nervous as I have a low reserve so I hope I'm not wasting the few I have left.  Pray it all aligns and I don't need IVF.  Wanna laugh my consolatation for ivf is the same day as my IUI.  Still have to keep on trucking for some success.

Happy 4th to all hope everyone is enjoying!!!

  • @Toby102008 we are exactly on the same track. AF came today!!  I've never been so excited for AF!  Called my nurse and left a message.  No one is in for the 4th. Hopefully going in on cd3 for an ultra sound and to start Femara too.  It is expensive!  And I told my DH we are now on a slipper slope we don't know when this will end.  But we are putting everything extra on hold and We are lucky because my insurance covers some and once I meet my deductible it will be a little cheaper. @Hopeful_mom  is right, it will all be worth it.

@Hopeful_mom I'm praying this is your month.   And I hope you OH gets home from his trip on time!  How are upping your meds working for you. I'm happy to be done with chlomid, it made me crazy!
  • Day 1 started for me Saturday, so I'm guessing iui #2 will be around the 16th for me. Anyone else around that time?
  • @Ejmacias apparently my OH thinks it's making me bat crazy as well  :s I also just think it's the experience of all of this altogether that does it too. I definitely had quite a few headaches through the days.  And put on a few pounds too, not blaming the Clomid but I don't think it helped matters! A Lil disappointed I didn't have more mature folli considering there were 6 on the left side alone most I've seen, but still just sounds like one is really ready To go.  With him being away might not trigger and go for more testing tomorrow to see where I am.  Talk about nothing aligning! Something has got to give!!  When u were on Clomid u didn't try an IUI? Just TI?  I've been reading up on ivf and seems like there's a lot more drugs that go into it, my head might explode!!

Today is cycle day 15 and going in for iui #2. Took Clomid this time around on day 3-7. We have been trying almost 2 years. Hoping this time is the charm especially since it maybe our last here since we are moving far away in September:/

@jkd2388 I am also due for IUI around the 16th. I go in the 15th for mid cycle ultrasound and if everything checks out IUI would be Saturday the 16th. Are you taking anything to help with ovulation? I start Femara tomorrow.

I thought for sure they were going to cancel or make me wait because AF started yesterday and is already ending, but I called and they said since I had a full flow all day yesterday and it was bright red that it counts and AF and I can still begin the Femara and continue as planned. Thank god! Does anyone else have very short periods and know if it can affect ovulation?

Isthisthereallife Hopefully this will be a good month for you.
madasm0530 I hear ya about the waiting/canceling of IUI's. I also just had a crazy long cycle. Hopefully July will be our lucky IUI and BFP month :)
jkd2388 What is your favorite tv show? Nice to have someone else on their 2nd IUI with me. I hope this is your lucky one!
meli123k Sorry about the negative beta :( Hopefully good things will come this month. Did you find any side effects on the estrodiol?
Hopeful_mom Love Mindy Project! I don't know about the comid but I sometimes get some crazy sensations in my ovaries when on the meds (Fermera/Letrozole).
elisam511 That is awesome that your follies were mature so early! Mine always take ages ...if they mature at all! FX for you!
lady_grey That is awesome that your insurance covers IVF after 6 IUI's! Bob ross!! Love..and amusing too! I liked heart of dixie the first few seasons.
Ejmacias Castles if Ireland sounds interesting! Welcome!
Starlight811 FX to you this cycle! Hopefully 6 is a lucky number!
Toby102008 I hate long cycles...didn't mind them before I was trying to get KU but now they are so frustrating and really draw things out.
MMD1986 I hope you have a nice break from it all!
daboz Hopefully you have some awesome mature follies...ready to IUI
Isthisthereallife Hopefully the AF wait goes fast.
    daboz That is awesome!!
kaityh1 It was hard for me to pick a netflix show too..I have watched what feels like almost everything.
Toby102008 Sounds like we will be IUIing on similar days if I get mature follies this cycle. :)

Welcome everyone! Hopefully this will be a lucky month for all of us!

I know on like the May board someone kept track of who had IUI's and what # it was...and how many were successful. It was kinda cool. Do you know who put that together?

  • @becauselove I'm in the same boat as you. Longggg cycles. Usually 50 some days. They always have to start provera from 40-45. Then AF comes 3-10 days later. I got lucky this month starting AF right on day 28. And my follies also don't mature. The time I did O on Clomid it was day 24. The other two times on Clomid they didn't mature. So she started me on the second highest dose of the Femara. 5mg also. I'm praying the Femara works better than the Clomid did. I just want to ovulate! I won't even be totally disappointed if the IUI doesn't work the first time  as long as the Femara makes me ovulate. At least then I know I have a chance. Good luck to you too! i have no idea who put the chart together about IUI dates on the May board but we need to figure it out so we can do it for this board. :)
  • Welcome @Ejmacias! I hope your 1st IUI goes well and that you don't have to be here long :)

@MMD1986 Hope you are able to enjoy some well-deserved rest and relaxation! Take care <3

@Hopeful_mom I hope things work out for you to trigger soon with your OH's schedule! We are also planning to have an IVF consult this month, I was reading up on it more this weekend but ended up just stressing myself out. I already have a long list of questions to ask the RE...just found out a friend of mine is considering IVF as well, so I may have someone to talk to in person during the process if we decide to go that route, which would be very comforting! But at least there are also supportive ladies here no matter where we end up.

@daboz Really hoping this time will work for you!!! Japan sounds amazing, but also difficult to move so far away. Best of luck to you on your move!

@Toby102008 My periods tend to be pretty short, usually 1-2 days full flow then tapers off pretty quickly. I then spot for several days after. It hasn't affected ovulation for me, but our diagnosis is unexplained and possibly my thyroid is affecting other things. I really hope the femara helps you ovulate this cycle! I'm giving it a try this time too, because the past couple times clomid made my lining thin.

@BecauseLove I saw that too and thought it was a really cool idea! Looks like @Monica54321 set it up, but she has moved onto the IVF/FET boards (Good luck Monica, hope things are going well for you!)

Today is CD1 for me, so I'll be going in Thurs morning for an u/s and if all looks good hopefully start on femara Thurs evening. I just had my thyroid tested again over the weekend and am worried that may throw a wrench in things like it has in the past, but I should find out in the next couple days if it has stayed stable...fingers crossed!

@Toby102008 I went ahead and put one together. This was my first time making a chart on google drive so I hope it works.

Everyone - feel free to make whatever edits make sense. We can use this to try and keep track/support each other through this month! I've tried to include everyone, I'm sorry if I missed someone!

Can't take credit for this idea though, I saw someone on the IVF board use this and thought it was awesome. Hope it helps us! Link below!

@meli123k That's a relief to know short periods don't affect your ovulation. I was worried even though the nurse at our clinic said it was okay too. I hope Femara works for you too!

@isthisthereallife For some reason I can't open the link. If I copy and paste it into the Internet it then tells me I need permission to access the file. I requested access so I'm not sure if you have to do something to accept it or what. But we will see if it's just my phone or if other people can't access it either.

  • @Isthisthereallife - You'll need to make the file shareable to anyone with the link.  You can do that by (Step 1) clicking 'Share' then 'Get shareable link'. Then you have to change the setting to 'Anyone with the link can edit' (Step 2).

    Step 1

    Step 2

  • @Toby102008 I will be starting femara tonight. Usually end up having to do estrogen as well for a few days. I go Monday for an ultrasound check to see where the follicles are at. I'll be triggering with ovidrel.
@BecauseLove good luck for iui #2. Hoping we both hear good news this month!!

  • I gotta be honest...the nerves are starting to get the best of me. I'm 4 days late for AF and am anxiously awaiting to get started. For whatever reason in my head, I have it built it up that we'll do the procedure and boom, we'll be pregnant. But if nothing else this board has thought me...it doesn't usually work that way.

I've started reading about IUI success rates, and how the timing has to be PERFECT. I've read about the meds and the lining and all the things that need to align for it to happen. I'm thinking what if my husbands sperm count isn't enough. At his last SA is was 7mil. Our RE said that it wasn't great, but it was doable and that hopefully that number will have gone up since 6 weeks ago when we last tested. Then I start worrying that thus far, I've been told that there shouldn't be any issue with me conceiving, but what if there is? There are so many of you amazing ladies who suffer from PCOS or unexplained fertility. It's just so, heartbreaking.

The point is...I'm starting to psych myself out. And the truth is...I feel like a "poser". Although we've been trying for a year, I feel like we haven't suffered enough to earn my badge as someone with infertility. I'm scared, and anxious. Does anyone else feel this way? If so, what do you do to bring yourself back to reality?

  • @Isthisthereallife I 100% feel the exact same way.  I get so anxious and read up on anything and everything and I get so nervous that something isn't right.

The one thing I wish I would have told myself before my first IUI is that I shouldn't expect the first one to work just like you can't expect for your first month of TTC to be a success.  I got myself all worked up and then when it didn't work, I was an emotional wreck and wasn't ready to start the process over again.  I'm still really nervous about this time too.  And then I think about all the other ladies on these boards who have been at this a lot longer than I have.

I just keep reminding myself that this is all out of my control and it is just another step I have to take towards having a child.  Good luck to you!
