Really Dark Lines that Quickly Appear?

I'm 5 weeks today, and my first positive test was at 3 weeks 4 days. Each one gets darker and darker. For the 4 days the pregnancy line even appears before the control line. Today it was INSTANTLY dark from the minute I dipped it. One of my friends said that was weird for 5 weeks.

Anyone else having similar experiences?

I just tested last night for the first time because my boobs hurt sooo bad! We just had a loss and I hadn't had a cycle yet, I thought no way I could be prego. Anyway the positive line came up before the control line and was super dark!

It's completely normal. HCG doubles every 48-96 hours up until 8-12 weeks, so higher levels will generally show positive sooner.
