I'm going to go ahead and say that my petty problem is that my pregnancy brain is making it harder for me to remember to post on a Saturday because there's always something(s) going on. Ugh! But I you!
so those are peanut butter filled cupcakes. I'm at my friend who is on bed rest and due 3 days after me. nobody hs broken into them yet. I really want a cupcake and to go to bed.
My husband is enjoying the long weekend a little too much as he's in the bag, and the only bag I've been into is my snickers bites. Granted I've never been a drinker but still bugs me.
@mrszoess those cupcakes look yummy!!! Last time I helped myself to cupcakes I ended up taking one that was earmarked for a kid
I just want to lay on the couch, eat snacks and watch TV (with or without DH) but he is down there playing video games/skyping with friends. They don't get to see each other much so I shouldn't complain, but I'm tired and want to be lazy and needy.
Okay part 2 to my pity party, which is more of a bitchfest than a petty problem - so ya hubby that was looped? Decided to call it a night and went to bed, only to roll over and puke all over the bed, the dog's bed and the floor. Our bathroom is literally 12 steps from the bed (hell I run to it every time morning sickness kicks in and I'm carrying around a turkey!). So now it's 9:53pm and I have to strip the bed, wash the sheets since you know we don't have a second set (we wash and put on), and my washing machine is too small for our blanket so I have to wait until tomorrow to take that and the dog's bed to the laundry mat. It also looks like we got rid of our old blankets so we'll have to use the knitted one I made 6 years ago which probably won't be big enough. Right now I'm so upset with him I can cry. I'm sorry he's too fucking old for this shit!
We were on a new (to us) beach island tonight so we HAD to get ice cream. My legs and feet were eaten alive by mosquitoes during the 45 minute long wait outside...
@LauraPCOS ughhhh i'm sorry that completely sucks!! I had a similar night with DH a couple of months after we started dating, except his head was on my shoulder when he puked and it went, not only on me, but also over the bed and into a bin of electronics that was open sitting next to the bed. Then 10 minutes after I changed the sheets and got everything washed and finally laid down he puked in bed again. Needless to say he's not allowed to have tequila anymore.
When my aunts who are planning my shower asked for the address list, I ran my husband's side by my mother-in-law and asked her to check the addresses, fill in a couple that were missing, and let me know if there was anyone she wanted to add. She replied and did not add anyone. Today (invitations have already gone out) she said she wants to invite several friends from work. So I agreed to ask my aunts if there was space, but now I feel angry at mother-in-law for dropping the ball and also making me look wishy-washy to my aunts. I don't even know these people (some may have been at our wedding, but I don't remember them) although I'm not opposed to extra gifts in theory.
@laurapcos Wow. I would be at my parents and he would sleeping in his vomit bed that he made.
@LauraPCOS I would be so furious! I'd totally be making him clean it up. I feel your pain though, my elderly dog got scared of the fireworks and peed on our bed. Now it's 11:51pm and I'm waiting on sheets to wash and dry.
@LauraPCOS and @LGW2015 ... You people are saints! LGW... DH and I would never have made it past dating if he had done that to me and Laura, I'd be having to call my bestie to help hide the body of I were you (for the sake of clarity here, I'm obviously like 60% joking there lol).
My petty problem: we got home at 11:30 and my parents had left the PNP we registered for in our garage as a surprise. Well, I decided t would be a good idea to put it together with DH who is not exactly sober (guess they all decided to tie one on tonight). Anyway, 45 mins and a bucket of tears later, it's put together and DH has put me to bed to calm down. Putting that shit together is hard plus DH was driving me crazy and, ya know, hormones. It all just sucked. Silver linings in all of this- we have a new PNP and I won the poker game we were in tonight. Night all!
Put this in the Randoms thread, but probably should have posted it here. RLP making us leave a party early last night...ugh! And now my mom has been texting me all morning to make sure I'm okay. It's not like I was in early labor, you can relax!! I'm sure it's just due to a growth spurt plus being on my feet most of yesterday. Hopefully once I actually get out of bed today it won't be there anymore and she can calm down!

@LGW2015 I don't know if I would have survived if he puked on me. If I was in bed with him and heard him starting to gag, I would have kicked him out of the bed (like I usually do and I mean literally my feet are against his ass kicking him out of bed).
@bnsmith85 when he was passed out on the couch while I waited for the sheets to wash, I eyed him and wonder if I could get away with @AllyTheKid 's plan...smoother him in his sleep! I have a big backyard and a lake close by, I'm sure I can come up with a story.
@RainMira9e I considered going to my mom's but she's an hour drive and out of town this weekend, so it would take me longer to get ready and get to her place than to clean it. Now if I had a comfortable couch I'd make him sleep in it and just sleep on the couch, but nope I have my brother's lumpy hand me down and because my cats feel everything is their scratching post I refuse to pay good money for a new one.
@ignoscemihi he's being extra sweet today so far and since he doesn't drive, he'll said he'll come with me to the laundry mat (I was expecting to fight him on that, but nope). My guess is he'll be all lovey dovey today.
My hope is that when our little baby boy comes, he won't want to drink like this anymore. We'll see though
This is the ultimate petty problem... I just had a prenatal massage and she would not rub hard enough no matter how much I asked. It's like she was scared to break me. Grrrrrr

My problem is, I was sore and stiff since I woke up but it definitely didn't help that, when we first were laying out the crib pieces before DH assembled it, I was turned away from the headboard looking at the directions when it tipped and fell on my back! That thing is sturdy for sure
Thanks @LauraPCOS, it did hurt a surprising amount when it happened but I can't tell the diff between the spot it hit and the rest of my already aching back haha
Going to the pool today and I can't decide if I should just go for the 2 piece or leave well enough alone and throw on the one piece... Decisions, decisions
My favorite one piece is too tight now. I probably could have worn it early pregnancy but of course it wasn't summer then. Tankinis over here too @mrszoess

Went with a 2 piece. The one that actually has decent coverage just made me look chunky so I went all in with a skimpy one lol... Classin' it up at the neighborhood pool today
I gotta post my problem: I miss Chipotle!! I am too afraid to eat it after all the bad press! If I wasn't prego, I'd be all over it!!
Anyone else with me?
My husband always says right after an outbreak is probably the safest time to eat at the affected restaurant because they're being extra careful to make sure their food is safe. He was proven wrong by Chipotle, though, since they had two outbreaks in two months (first E.Coli then norovirus). They're probably doubly cautious now, though. Right?

My petty problem - my neighbors are in their backyard talking and laughing. I'm worried they're going to keep me awake. It's 8 p.m.
