I haven't seen this. And I think we ought to have some good ones out there. Come on ladies!

For the newbies.... this is Flame Free Friday Confession. (definitely not always flame free, fyi.)


Me: 28 year old SAHM/Birth Doula
DH: 30 year old pneumatic electrical engineer 
Married: October 8, 2011
DD1: September 24, 2013
BFP: June 25, 2016 and MC: July 3, 2016
DD2: April 16, 2017
BFP: November 30, 2018 EDD: August 14, 2019

    Sometimes I hate my husband (see: Friday spam for further info).

    All joking aside, I really despise Taylor Swift. Sure, I like her music and all, but I think she's just a spoiled little self-entitled twit.

    I hate playdates. I have nothing in common with the other moms except we have kids the same age. And they are all so obsessed with being a mom...like don't we get to have something else besides being a mom in our lives?!?

    I really don't want to tell people I'm pregnant... Idk why, I just have no desire to tell anyone... except my sister, for some reason I want to tell her...

    I have a second FFFC. It irks me when we have posts from members who haven't done an intro or announce themselves as lurkers. It's just me being Type A and crazy obsessive, and I can't help it, but there we are.

    I see everyone posting about how anxious they are for their 1st doctor's appointment. They can't wait for the 1st ultrasound and called to set everything up as the pee stick was drying. I have absolutely no desire to rush to the doctor. I haven't called yet. Granted, because of moving and changing HMOs I was only able to call July 1st (so, today). But, I don't think I will call for a bit yet. Perhaps it is because I have already been through this once. Nothing magical really happens at the first appointment. And I personally am hoping to wait on the ultrasound until 9 or 10 weeks because I actually want to be able to see a tiny little baby, not just a blob. This whole second time mom thing seems to be off to a lazy start.

    @mrsstuessy I am with you! Like word for word. I also moved recently and need a new doc and I am really not looking forward to looking for a new one. I figure I have 3-4 weeks before I need to really be on it.

    I love play dates.  I live for adult interaction. You need new mom friends.

    @NurseMama I am always looking for new friends. I moved recently to a very conservative area and the only stay at home mom's I have met so far are sooo different from me. They are all super nice, we just have zero in common.

    My FFFC is I already feel the shift in priorities that my non-mom friends always say is annoying about moms. I'm in my mid-20s, so I hear a lot of "so and so had a baby and now they've changed so much" and I'm already feeling the change. And I don't think it's a bad change.
