Re: PGAL Check-In 6.27
Next milestone/appointment? This week is last due date, but next week on the 6th is my next appt and u/s. So far, I haven't felt as anxious about this milestone as I thought I would, so that's good.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: Still haven't felt any movement, beginning to wonder if I have an anterior placenta. Trying not to think about the worst case scenario (and mostly succeeding).
Questions? Any other introverted mamas-to-be out there? I'm having such a hard time telling people about the pregnancy, even though it's becoming impossible to miss, because I don't like being center of attention and having to answer all the questions about the state of my uterus. Pregnancy is such a private experience for me, but all the physical changes turn it into an assumed public domain.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer? Anything as long as I'm warm! I'm always cold so summer for me is about getting in some warmth while I can. Though I have to say, now that I'm pg, I get overheated easier than I ever have before so that hasn't been so nice!
Next milestone/appointment? Appointment July 5th. No more loss milestones for a while. Yay!
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I'm actually to a point that I'm really enjoying being pregnant and debating my feelings that I don't want to do this again.
Questions? Per my R/R, any suggestions on how to bring this up with DH? He was perfectly fine with OAD (for me) and we already have his 2 boys but now that I'm not wondering if I'm ever actually going to have my own baby I'm not so sure I only want one more.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer? My family shoots fireworks professionally and it's so much fun even though it's hot and can be hard work. We have 3 big shows this weekend and another big show next weekend. I'm so excited!
Next milestone/appointment? 7/1 I have an OB appt, and A/S on 7/8.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I have been on pelvic rest for over a month so I am really hoping I get cleared on Friday. Being off pelvic rest would not only be really great for the obvious reasons, but it would also mean that my placenta moved up and don't have placenta previa.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer? Lay in my hammock! I love to be warm, and last year SO's mom gave me Amazon gift cards for my birthday and I got a hammock with them. I also love watching fireworks!
next apt: July 7 and 8, anatomy scan and 20 week check up.
rave: I have been feeling movement this last week, yay!

Rant/Rave/Anything else: hoping my dr takes me off bed rest been feeling useless. But been feeling more movement so that always makes me feel better.

GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer?
I love to swim so hoping DH puts our pool up this weekend.
Next milestone/appointment? July 17 is the next appt. I am excited that tomorrow I will be 1/2 through the pregnancy. It's been a huge sigh of relief for me.
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I had my anatomy on Monday. It was amazing to see and feel him wiggle around at the same time. The gender scan I paid for at 17 weeks was WRONG. He is not a she as the tech said. There was no mistaking the turtle this time. Thank goodness I hadn't bought much for a girl lol!
Questions? Anyone else start having leaky boobs? My Dr assures me it's normal but I had no idea it would start so early. I always thought it would be right before I delivered.
GTKY: What is your favorite thing to do in the summer? Anything to do with water. Tubing, swimming, or going to the beach are my favorites.
Next milestone/appointment? My anatomy scan is this Tuesday. I'm so excited to have one final check that baby is growing well, and to find out the sex!
Rant/Rave/Anything else: I just got back from a long weekend trip to the east coast with my 2 year old. Now this weekend is her birthday party and the 4th of July. I'm exhausted, but at least it's making time pass more quickly until my a/s!
