Gaaaah! I forgot shark week was this week! Dammit, I'm really bummed now that I missed most of it. It's usually much later in the summer, not until August sometime. Crap balls.

@wirtlehm I can't believe this is your first year watching Shark Week! It's sooo good. DH and I normally play drinking games during SW but will not be participating this year for obvious reasons.

On an unrelated note to sharks, I hung out with my BFF last night and she told me she's pregnant too! I am over the moon excited for her. Her EDD is 2/22 so she's only a few weeks ahead of me. Plus, this will be her third so she'll be able to help out this pregnancy noob.

@EALasagna45, next year DH and I will have to play this game one night! I'll have to make sure I have enough milk stock piled to pump n dump for 1 night!

And yay on a bestie pregnancy! That should make it even more fun for you! And even more fun watching your kids grow up together!

@wirtlehm That game can get out of hand pretty quick lol

Out of all the episodes I've watched I've never seen anybody actually die from a shark attack. However I did see one episode where an older guy studied sharks all of his life, was there during filming, and later died of natural causes. IDK if I could watch SW if I saw a deadly attack.... I love the ocean way too much!

@EALasagna45, DH and I have long term plans to buy a condo on the beach, so yea... seeing a death while filming would be devastating to me, I love the water so much..! So damn beautiful!

@EALasagna45 I love that Shark Week drinking game! Hilarious. And how fun that you and your bestie will be pregnant together! One of my BFFs is pregnant, but she's due in August so she's way ahead. I still haven't told her, or anyone yet.. IDK, in some ways I want to tell my friends so I can talk about it and not feel like I'm hiding a big secret. But sometimes I feel like waiting another 3.5 weeks until I go to my first appointment when I'll get a u/s.

Totally got home tonight and set my DVR for all the Shark Week shows I want to watch.

Btw, random but remember how everyone used to be all about TiVo? Now it's all DVR and TiVo is dead.

I should probably save this for FFFC tomorrow, but I have never watched shark week. We have never really had "normal" TV though, so that is why.

@SandwichLover Hey you gotta do what's right for you. I know what you mean about feeling like you're hiding a big secret. Honestly I don't think I would have told her yet if she didn't back me into a corner and straight up ask me. She's good like that haha DH and I have no other plans of telling anybody else except for maybe immediate family until the first tri is over. It's a totally personal decision but there's no wrong way to handle it!
