Gestational diabetes, low suger possibly hypoglycemia?!?

so I had the glucose test alittle late on pregnancy and They said I failed the 1 hour and the 3 hour the nurse said my results were abnormal, so Im seeing a specialist, and I was put on a diet but since I have started my levels have been very low the first day it went 73 fasting then 75 after breakfast, 70 after lunch and 69 after dinner, today when I woke it was 67! After breakfast like 2 hours but by accident i ate a piece of chocolate my son gave my like 30 min before the finger prick and my sugar came out to 72 its supposed to be between 80-120, Im beginning to think this is a load of crap, I am seeing my doc tomorrow, but has this happend to any of you mommies?

    Are you eating enough?  Are you eating the recommended amount of carbs and also pairing it with protein?  I know if I don't eat enough of my meal then my blood sugar gets low.

    You're not technically hypoglycemic until you're below 60 (below 70 if you're symptomatic). Unless you're not eating hardly anything at all, you're numbers actually look really, really good. Should be interesting to see what your doc has to say.

    Only other question, how long are you waiting after you eat before you test? You should be testing 1 or 2hrs after your first bite of food.
