How far along are you? 7 weeks

How big is baby? blueberry or a Tic Tac (which don't seem to be the same size)

Appointments this week? nothing this week

Symptom changes? hurled for the first time yesterday, and my hair has gotten super oily all of a sudden

I am 8 weeks today.

Baby is the size of a raspbeery or kidney bean and apparently moving a lot. Obviously I don't feel it but that's what this week's description said.

No appointment this week. I have another ultrasound next week.

No new symptoms, tired all the time, emotional and changing food aversions.

No rants. One of my son's teachers called today to let me know how he did in the class and that he really enjoyed having him in the class. I could tell he was genuine and it was a welcome phone call. My son loved this teacher as well. Also, my 3 year old helped with my injection today. She is always so happy to help.

This weekend I will attend a town Canada day party on Friday. (They host a fairly fun one each year, free food and lots of kids activities, music, food and cake and of course a big fireworks display at night) I also plan on attending a rib fest, it isn't a big one but they will still have an acceptable selection and midway to enjoy. The rest of the time I will relax, and swim a bit.

How far along/size - 8 weeks today - raspberry baby!

Appt - I had my first appt and first u/s yesterday. My dr wants baseline tests for gestational diabetes and pre eclampsia at week 10 so those will be my next appointments.

Symptoms/Rants/Raves - I started Diclegis last night and couldn't get out of bed this morning. So sleepy! But the good news is I've stopped throwing up.

GTKY - We are taking DS to his first baseball game on Sunday with fireworks and then we do a huge family picnic on Monday. And MORE fireworks! It's my favorite holiday. And fireworks are my super fave.

How far along are you? 6 weeks (sorry for the bold. Stupid app)

How big is baby? A sweet pea

Appointments this week? Had an ultrasound this morning. First midwife visit is July 5th. Very much looking forward to that. I loved having these midwives with my last baby. Its like anticipating being reunited with old friends. I cant wait to see them!

Symptom changes? Puking. All the puking. I was supposed to keep two bottles of water down for my ultrasound this morning. That was laughable. I would swallow, and it would instantly come back up. And I cry. All the time now. Usually I'm a stereotypical dude. I don't do feelings. I laugh at horror movies and yell at the tv during football games. Now I cry over every damn thing. I'm annoying myself.

Rant/Rave/Questions? Meh. I need to get my house back under control and my boys' screentime back under control. I have felt awful the past few days so we have basically just couch and cartooned and I feel terrible and guilty.

GTKY: What are your plans for the holiday weekend? Probably head to the lake for fireworks. Excited to see my 4 yr olds reaction.

Symptom changes? I've actually been feeling pretty good the last few days which was a little concerning. This morning though the mild cramping and stretching feeling came back so I'm not as freaked out.

Rant/Rave/Questions? I'm super excited I was accepted as a patient by the midwife clinic I applied to! Our province only funds a small number of them, and in my city they have to turn away ~75 % of the women who want care through them. I'm feeling pretty lucky!

GTKY: What are your plans for the holiday weekend? Sleep and relax

GTKY: What are your plans for the holiday weekend? my neighborhood goes balls out for the 4th.. like a double block party with us and the street next to us. there is a band and parade with floats and they make a bar out of those wood things that hold larges boxes i am totally spacing the name of.. not crates.. uhmm..

No changes, nausea and food adversions sticking around.

Rant/Rave/Questions?
At my appointment today there was a woman who looked pretty young, probably early 20's, wearing these supper tiny shorts that were thisclose to showing the bottom of her ass cheeks. She was also at her first OB appointment as I overheard her talking with the receptionist. Not that that makes a difference but really?! This is not the beach put some clothes on!

GTKY: What are your plans for the holiday weekend?
Bbq with DH's family on Sunday. I would like to announce to them but kinda nervous to do so before we see a heartbeat.

Appointments this week? nothing this week

Symptom changes? Nausea has set in for me. It's not terrible, but if I go too long without eating it really hits.

Rant/Rave/Questions? This isn't really a rant or a rave...but I have a big, extended family beach vacation in about 2-3 weeks. I originally thought I'd have NO problem hiding this pregnancy. However, I'm already bloated/kinda pregnant looking by the end of the day now! I'm on the small side, and this is #4...so things are probably going to be a bit more obvious than I anticipated.

GTKY: My oldest daughters 6th bday party on Saturday and then fireworks Monday!

How big is baby? Sweet pea

Appointments this week? Not unless you count my apt. with my PCP who says I have allergy induced asthma. Thankfully her and my OB were able to discuss a course of action and I'm getting a steroid inhaler and a rescue inhaler because I've been miserable coughing for the past 2 weeks.

Symptom changes? Not really, just feeling the heart burn more

Rant/Rave/Questions? Not really, just can't wait to start the inhaler so I can get rid of this cough and actually get some sleep since I've been up at 4am every morning.

GTKY: What are your plans for the holiday weekend? Going to a BBQ. Also, my niece and nephew are in town and I'm so excited to see them since I haven't since last September at my wedding (they live on the west coast and I'm on the east coast).

I am 7 weeks.

I I think the baby is as big as a blueberry this week.

I had my first ultrasound on Monday. So great seeing the bean!

My nausea has gotten much worse this week. I had to call and get an Rx today for Diclectin.

This is weekend we are taking our daughter to see Finding Dory and then we have my nephews birthday.
