Ulcerative colitis anyone?

I'm 27 weeks and been having a UC flare up for about two weeks now, despite having mostly been in remission for 12 years. Anyone else on here have ulcerative colitis or any advice to give on what helped you get past a pregnancy flare? If I don't get it under control I could be high risk for preterm labor. Thanks for your experience and ideas!

    So sorry to hear you are flaring @wildmama. I'm 30 weeks w/ UC, but I've been lucky (knock on wood) and even my joint pain is better than it has been pre-pregnancy. What are you taking for UC? I'm on Remicade every 8 weeks, but stopped just before my third trimester and won't get it again until the baby is born. There was a brief time during my pregnancy when I had some bloody diarrhea and my GI told me that steroid suppositories are category A drugs and don't effect the baby at all- is that something you can try? I'm so sorry that you and you're going through this! I'm sending good vibes your way!
