Three Things Tuesday 6/28

1. I feel terrible saying this, but I'm ready to wean from breastfeeding. I rented a hospital grade pump for a month and it's just about time to return it. My supply is low and I honestly just want my body back. I feel so much guilt because DS loves to boob and is really comforted by nursing. If it wasn't for that I probably would've thrown in the towel a while ago.

2. For the past 3 days, I've been wearing my Bellefit on the smallest size. Wooooo!  No joke though, I still can't wait to take the thing off after several hours. Plus DH calls it my body armor... I get it, it's not hot.

3. We DTD for the first time the other day and it felt so much better than I thought it would feel. Maybe it's because it was after the second child? I dunno but yay for sex again!

  • @Aquinna82 Thank you!! That means so much, I actually shed a tear just now. Haha I am a loser.
  • @cortney626 the clothing struggle is real. I try to put DS in something new everyday, but he's growing like a weed. :/
  • 1. Poor LO has been staying up like four hours in the mornings and gets herself so exhausted that she just cries and cries until she wears herself out. We're trying to find a way to get her to sleep earlier but haven't found a good method
    2. Pollie slept in her crib the past two nights!
    3. One of my best friends has yet to meet Pollie (6 weeks old) and hasn't even mentioned coming up to see her. She lives about two hours away but it still irritates me she hasn't mentioned seeing her
  • 1. DH and my anniversary is next week. We usually go camping that week where we had our honeymoon but we're putting it off a week because my mom is having surgery. I honestly had no clue it was July next week. How is that possible?
    2. I'm wearing some ankle boots I haven't been able to wear since month 6 pregnancy. I'm so happy!!
    3. I'm now obsessed with makeup tutorials. I'm usually a wash and go girl (except for hair which I usually straighten). I'm thinking a change is in order.
  • @yogahh just confirm with the gym, I know my local Equinox doesn't start childcare until 6 months. I think your comfort level depends on a lot of factors kind of like daycare, what's the child to caregiver ratio, what's their sick policy and vaccines, what their policy is for finding you on the floor.
  • @yogahh My gym won't take the babies until they're 6 months old. If it was a younger age, I'd send her after her 2 month shots. But my older one goes to kids club and would be with her. The teacher in there just holds the baby the whole time when there's a baby. They don't feed or change diapers, they'd call for the parent. I can't wait for her to be 6 months so I don't have to wait until DH gets home. I'd like to be done with the gym by then so we can have family time then.
  • @Kurrant I'm always happy to see you & Lucy get a WIN too :)
