Rave: got my Doppler! It only took 2 days to arrive and I have found Cletus twice for a few seconds each time and then he moves which I actually like - it's good to know he is active!
Rant - I am SO cranky
When is your next appointment?
Tonorrow! The new practice I started at does OB orientation in a group so I'll get to hopefully meet some new friends!

I played clarinet from 6th grade through college where I minored in music. Haven't played much lately but thinking about starting up again. I wish I could sing or play the piano though.

Guys! I'm 12 weeks. This is unreal. This is my safe point that I've prayed for. I have checked the heart beat on my Doppler like 3 times today.
Even though it's early, is there anything you're doing to plan/get ready for the baby's arrival?
Yes. I'm starting to actually realize that I'm having a second child. We are announcing on fb and to family on Friday.

13 weeks- 2nd tri is so close!! Babies are the size of lemons or matchbox cars, and their bodies are starting to grow into their heads

Right now no, H keeps springing these cabin rentals in me which is nice but I need to be home for a weekend to do baby stuff! (Car shopping, check out strollers and car seats, shop around for a glider or rocking chair etc)

I've had piercing near-migraine headaches off and on all week (and right now) and uggghhhh they make me more nauseated! The m/s is slightly slightly easing a little bit here and there ::knocks on wood::

7/5 with the MFM, another lonnngggg ultrasound appt (not that I mind seeing them one bit!)

All of the above! I'm not great at painting or dance, but I used to sing in choirs and at church, I played the flute and piccolo through school, we have a darkroom in our basement we both love photography, and during the hurry up and wait of infertility treatments I bought a keyboard and taught myself to tinker. I'm not good at all but I like really dramatic concertos that make H nervous lol! The previous owner of our home was an artist too, the basement is prepped for a kiln and wheel and we'll get that set back up someday. I haven't thrown pottery since college but I loved it!

Nothing. We discussed starting to play crying baby audio for the cats to start getting used to the new noises they will be hearing soon. Maybe I'll start this week.

Sleeping is getting very uncomfortable. I am a stomach sleeper and feel like I am tossing and turning and sleeping weird and wrong anymore.

7/17 but my ob said I can come in for a dobbler reading any time.

I used to dance in element and middle school but I wasn't any good. My husband plays guitar and used to sing so this kid has some hope of being artistic.

im currently trying to declutter when my energy is there. Id be doing this over the summer anyway but I feel more motivated because of the baby.
Rave--My need to nest is kicking in.
Rant--My nausea and energy levels have not quite caught on to the nesting instinct.

We got to meet with our maternal/fetal specialist, who we will work with throughout the pregnancy (mono/di twins). The ultrasound was AMAZING, the babies were moving around like crazy! I could have watched them all day. We did finally see a membrane between the twins, which makes me very happy!
I also ate a full meal today (sandwich and apple) which was a big thing, considering how much I've hated food this trimester, lol. We also announced on Facebook - it was fun reading all the supportive comments, especially from those who know about our infertility struggle.

Went to school in a very small K-12 school, so missed out on a lot of those opportunities. I did sing in church though and I took a semester of voice lessons, and a semester of drawing, in college.

I started bleeding pretty badly yesterday & I have been spotting all day today.
We're going in tomorrow to see if things are OK or not. I bled at the same exact time when pregnant with my DS, but not nearly as much. We're keeping our fingers crossed, but expecting the worst.

I have been doing A LOT of research for our registry, and DH and I plan to go to the stores this weekend as long as my appointments go well this weekend, and probably start our registries!

This weekend was rough - my morning sickness came back with a vengeance! UGH...and I also feel like I popped overnight Saturday, which is very exciting! I don't think it's really noticeable to anyone else, but I definitely could tell a difference in the way my clothing fit Sunday morning!

I have my initial appointment with the midwife tomorrow, and my NT scan on Friday!

I danced from the time I was 4 years old...still take classes occasionally, but I don't have as much time as I wish I did to take classes! I also played the clarinet & alto clarinet throughout middle school and high school.
