Has anyone else been dealing with a baby who just won't stop rolling in their crib?
My LO rolls constantly. Last night, I was up every 15 minutes--either rescuing paci, or un-wedging her from the corner, or helping her back over when she can't roll again for lack of space. At around 3, and me near tears, my husband went and slept on the couch so I could just put her in the bed with me. With me anchoring her, she seemed to sleep a lot better, and the only time we moved was when I moved her to my other side so I could face that way.
She's never been swaddled--she hates it, and due to AR, has slept in a boppy until recently. We had transitioned her out for about a month prior to her rolling, but I put her back in it for a few days because it seemed she was sleeping better. Now, she's rolling in the boppy, too, and that feels too risky. The last 2 weeks have been rough, but she's always been able to get a good chunk of sleep before starting the rolling around 3:30/4. Last night, it started at 11:30!
Anybody else dealing with this?
Re: Rolling over affecting sleep
Curious to know if anyone else has purchased this.
Edit because the link will not work. If anyone is interested it's on Babies R Us' website. It is called Baby Boom Reste Safe Sleep Solutuon. It's only $30.
Edit: autocorrect...
@beccanforrest22 My daughter def prefers sleeping on her right side. It surprises me, because we used to put her on her left side (and I rock her left side down) due to reflux issues. Now she's all about sleeping on that right side.
@beccanforrest22 mine also prefers the left. She can roll both ways but definitely favours the left side!!
We are 3 days from the 5th Leap. Either 1 or both of his front teeth are maybe 1-2 weeks from popping through. Pedi. had said 2-3 weeks, and that was a week ago. And today for naps I started him in the Zippadee Zip. Currently, he's sleeping on his side all cute and snuggly in the Zippadee.
Lord help me! I'm hoping for a smooth transition, for us all. I think this whole thing happened on purpose just at the right time. Today was my 1st day of Summer vacation from school. So now I have all the time in the world to catch up on potential lost sleep and to make sure LO is getting through this transition smoothly.
