GTKY: What's one food you hate that most people love? Yellow mustard. I hate it with the fire of a thousand suns. It's the only reason I ever send food back at a restaurant. Anything else I'll just pick off, but if there's mustard on it, I just can't. GROSS.
What size is baby? The size of a box of kraft mac & cheese
Upcoming appointments? I have the follow up anatomy scan part 2 this weekend. Hopefully baby boy cooperates! Then I have another regular appointment July 12 with another 1 hour glucose test. I did one around 12 weeks since I had shown insulin resistance during fertility treatments, but everything was good. I actually didn't mind the drink that much either!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I am so frustrated with still being sick all the time. I feel like such a whiny brat about it, but it just doesn't seem fair! Just when I think it's gone, I puke with little warning and feel like shit all day. Wahhh.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I hate food.
GTKY: What's one food you hate that most people love? Hot dogs. I don't even like the smell of them. It makes me sad because they look really appealing in the summer but I can't get into them. I don't like sausages either really.
@CopperBoom86 I also hate mustard! I only like honey mustard, and even then not on most things, just for the occasional pretzel dip.

More of a rant. The room that is going to be the nursery is in shambles without walls. It's been like this since April and I'm about to lose my shit on DH. He keeps working Extra details (we aren't strapped for cash) it seems to avoid working on the room. It's driving me crazy, I just want to do my thing in that room but I need walls!!!!

Upcoming appointments? Appointment for Asthma this thursday, My OB wants to make sure it won't affect baby. As she said, Some babies whose mothers have asthma end up in the NICU. Hopefully this won't be so for the LO since my asthma has been pretty much under control.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Lord, why the Leg Cramps???? =(
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Still hating anything sweet. Even though i went to jersey shore for the weekend with some friends and ended up stuffing my face with ice cream, slushies, and cotton candy. The after taste was HORRIBLE to me, and ended up having to drink a ton of water afterwards. lol
GTKY: What's one food you hate that most people love? I don't hate it but it makes me so sad that I am allergic to Shellfish and therefore cannot enjoy Shrimp, Crabs, Lobsters etc. I have to stick to boring fish and sometimes i can eat Calamari depending on where its from.
@scostel2 - So sorry that you're still sick! My grandma said she was sick the whole pregnancy with both my uncle and my dad. I can't imagine!!!
@zuzu87 - Keep us posted on the asthma appointment. As for the leg cramps - I feel your pain! They keep me up most of the night!!

Upcoming appointments? Had my glucose test this morning - still waiting to hear the results. It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be, but it is sooooooo sweet! My son would probably love it. @zuzu87 - you will hate it!!
Rants/Raves/Questions? @kennelchick - Haven't started on our baby's room yet and I'm starting to freak out!! Cute story tho - My 2 1/2 year old son's play room is currently where the baby's room will be, then we'll move his play room downstairs. I informed him of all of this the other day, just to give him a heads up. He told me, "No." I asked him where the baby is going to go and he said, "Downstairs." Poor kiddo is in for a shock...
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Crispy chicken salads with honey mustard dressing...mmm...
GTKY: What's one food you hate that most people love? Ranch dressing. And I get a lot of crap for it because everyone in MT puts ranch on everything - salads, fries, pizza... I find it so disgusting - it's creamy and stinky!

@AshleyGemini24 - Welcome back! I gave up on my ever changing due date long ago. According to my LMP, it was Oct 24th, then at the viability scan, it was Oct 18th. I had a scan after some spotting at 13 weeks that moved it to Oct 19th, then my anatomy scan last Friday moved it to Oct 21st. I suck with the 18th... wishful thinking, I guess.

I'm still feeing fairy good, I'm definitely having to pee more the last few days since baby feels like he has moved down a bit more. I'm really hoping he is head down at the end of this pregnancy. Even though it is early it's already on my mind a lot.

Yogurt covered raisins and Tim Hortons ice caps are where it's at for me these days! Hopefully I don't have GD and have to quit.
GTKY: What's one food you hate that most people love?
I like excessive amounts of garlic, like so much it would make your eyes water. I also like mega hot and spicy food, which in my circle of friends and family nobody likes.
No idea why caps lock won't come off. I'm perma mobile so maybe that's why?

My next appointment is on July 1st, and it's the dreaded GD test. I'm kind of behind on my appointments, so a couple weeks after that I'll start having appointments every two weeks, ahhh! And I'll have to get the RhoGam shot

@zuzu87 A few days ago I woke up in the middle of the night with terrible leg cramps too! And then for a few days after, my calves were insanely sore for some reason. I feel like I am really very comfortable in my pregnancy ... until I have to be exposed to this awful heat and it all goes out the window. Any long period outside makes every part of my body swell, I get sore, and feel lightheaded. It looks like there's some hope it'll be cooler next week, I'm holding out for that.

Some back pain is popping up here and there. Sleep is getting a little bit more annoying. I can definitely relate to the sweets cravings! I make sure to have watermelon and dried unsweetened mango (my favorite, I'm addicted) in the house so that I don't always have a dessert when I need something sweet. I still crave lots of snack type foods like cereal with milk or homemade nachos. But pretty much everything sounds good lately!

I used to be super picky as kid & teen, and still a bit as a young adult (really hoping DS will take after DH on that). But now I eat everything! There is really only one food that I can't stomach but a lot of people love... tuna salad! Or really canned tuna with anything. I just can't even...

@CopperBoom86 - Glucose test came back normal -- yay!!!!! Wishing all of you other mamas the same fortune!
However, my blood test showed that I am anemic, which is no surprise - I've been that way most of my life. Never been able to donate blood because of it
So I'm supposed to up my iron supplements (even tho that never seems to work...we'll see).

Pizza, there, I said it! I don't like pizza. Or Spaghetti. I hate tomato sauce ya'll.

Chicken, it just disgusting. I know im in the vast minority, but I can't stand it. My grandfather is the same way so at least who shares my disgust for it.
Btw pizza is my go to food. I cant believe people dont like it. There are so many options and flavors!

My blood pressure can stop being so sensitive to stress now. This week has been ridiculous with the stress, so then I have 144/86BP at the doc today. Erg. Luckily nothing else was off right now so I'll just make sure I practice my yoga and get calm.

The awesome easy falling asleep hands has been fun. If I sit and write for more than like 5 minutes, my hand starts to tingle.

Icing. I hate icing. Frosting I can handle sometimes, but not the super sweet icing.
My great-grandfather hated icing too, so my great-grandmother came up with a recipe for cake for him. It’s a white cake, cover it with pads of butter, and then sprinkle copious amounts of brown sugar. It all melts into the cake while it cooks and it is the cake she has made me every year for my birthday.
