  Metformin is used to help women with PCOS ovulate. Research shows it does help increase ovulation for women with PCOS, but (according to a meta-analysis) live birth rates are not increased by metformin use (meaning it's no better than placebo as far as actually birthing a live baby). Metformin does, however, increase live birth rate when used with clomid in women who did not have success with clomid alone (again this is for women with PCOS). Because Letrozole also stimulates ovulation and helps with endometrial thickening the combination of Letrozole and metformin leads to a somewhat higher rate of live births. 
  
  I dont know anything about adding provera to the mix....It is used in endometriosis and abnormal uterine bleeding and is category X in pregnancy (meaning it is known to cause harm). So no idea why you would take that if you are trying to get pregnant 
  
  Are you doing IUI or IVF? 
  
  You should always ask these questions in the office, advice about medicines and why you are taking them isn't something you should get from an Internet forum.....as you may be on them for different reasons than someone else (off label use). I would suggest calling your doctor's office today and asking your questions of them.
