Hey mamas! Hard to believe it is already the end of June! Almost to single digit week countdowns!!
1. How far along, and what are you carrying?
2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
Re: Moms of Multiples 6/27
25+6. Di-di boys
2. Upcoming milestones/appointments:
Quick OB visit this week, which includes my first cervix check, followed by my glucose tolerance test.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives:
I've started seeing an awesome prenatal chiropractor, which has been helping me feel a lot more comfortable. I feel like my belly has so much more space since she started working on my hips and round ligaments! Also got a maternity support band thingy. Super unsexy, but really nice.
On the negative side, I had a little PTL scare last night- had 4-5 contractions within a half hour (lots of water and a relaxing bath stopped them), and my H is currently on his way to Calgary for the week...
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
With DS1 I watched Downton Abbey on Amazon Prime while bfing. I'll probably go back through Gilmore Girls this time around (I like something not too dramatic, that I can tune in and out of while nursing).

2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
I finally see my ob again friday. Haven'tseen her in a month, and not since we got the news about Daisy being small.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
My sister in law had her baby this weekend! I'm excited to have a baby in the house, but also dreading it... as far as my pregnancy goes, I'm not sure how much longer I can keep working. Every day feels longer and longer and harder and harder! I had a few days last week where I could only make it a few hours in before throwing up the rest of the day. Not pretty wjen I can't keep weight on period.
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
Let's see.... all of them? My faves are of course Jessica Jones and Daredevil, and I'm looking forward to habing time for HBO Now, for Silicon Valley, Veep and catching up on GOT. I also love trashy tv like Teen Mom. Oh and I freaking love Mindy Project. Most things struggle to keep my interest nowadays so I'll have a lot to catch up on.
23+2 girl/girl di/di
2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
nothing this week but am looking forward to reaching 24 weeks! OB appointment and cervix check with the MFM next week.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
i am officially in the "uncomfortable all the time" stage. Does not matter how I lay, sit, or stand, the babies are either in my ribs or on my bladder. In my ribs is the worst complaint I have right now because I can't breathe and it feels like my ribs are digging into organs (or babies). How am I supposed to make it 13 more weeks if I feel out of room now? 13 more weeks seems so far away yet SO CLOSE!! We were told to expect to deliver at 36 weeks.
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
i am a forever Friends-lover. I have seen every episode 20+ times I'm sure, and still can't get enough. So, that'll probably be a go to. That or some HGTV.
1. How far along, and what are you carrying?
24 + 5 di/di girl/boy twins
2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
Next US is next week (Tuesday).
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
FINALLY started on the nursery. And when I say "started", I mean we have just cleaned out all of the old furniture and brought home sample paints yesterday. I feel overwhelmed from being behind the ball.
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
My guilty TV pleasure is typically The Real Housewives. I used to watch Orange is the New Black so maybe I will pick back up on that one.

2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
I had one today. My cervix has lengthened even more. It's up to 5.8!!!
I go back in two weeks for another cervix check and second growth scan.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
I'm so excited about my normal length cervix!
I've ordered all of the nursery furniture! Now to just get their room cleaned out, painted, and floor refinished. Ha!
I've scheduled a maternity shoot at the beach in a month and an elective 3D scan around then too when my family will be in town.
And I bought them the cutest outfits to wear this fall.
I also bit the bullet and purchased two new infant seats and the joovy twin roo. We'll try to sell my son's seat, bases, and stroller on a local buy/sell/trade.
Now with all of that purchasing, I'm afraid it will be the holidays before I need to buy anything else!
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
I hope I am able to breast feed this time. I pumped, took multiple supplements (fenugreek, goats rue, and something else I can't remember), and met with many LCs last time and it didn't work for me. But I know that I will still have plenty of couch time with whatever method gets my babies fed.
Pioneer Woman
Bargain beach houses
Kardashians
Golden girls
25+4; twin boys.
2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
Growth scan on the 8th. Third tri on the 28th.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Rant: I'm sick and my vacation starts on Friday. My body better get its shot together.
Raves: The nursery is 1/3 done. Seems dismal, but the next two steps shouldn't be too hard. I told DH that all I want for my birthday is a completed nursery so I can set it up. He has three weeks. Haha.
4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
We have Amazon Prime (not a fan of the video) and Netflix. I'm also done with Grey's. OITNB, anything crime or HGTV related.
Me: 28 DH: 27

4. Question of the week: Those early breastfeeding weeks will clock lots of couch time; Do you have a favorite series on Netflix/Hulu/etc.?
With our first we watched Breaking Bad & Sons of Anarchy, but now that he is 2 probably need more kid friendly shows, so it will probably be Paw Patrol & Mickey. But I have started House of Cards and would like to pick back up on Orange is the New Black. I also love reading my kindle and breastfeeding may be the only time I actually get to do that, any book recommendations?
1. How far along, and what are you carrying?
26 & 4... Boy/girl twins
2. Upcoming milestones/appointments
Our next appt/us is at 28 weeks.
3. Rants/Raves/Positives
Last night my husband and I went to a "marvelous multiples" private class and toured the birthing center at our hospital. It was great to get a lot of specific info around twins and to talk about the birth.
Also- the nurse who facilitated the class gave great advice. With multiples she said to set small goals for your pregnancy. For example- my next goal is to make it to 32 weeks. If we make it there I plan on just making it a week to week goal. I think it will help reduce stress and it's always nice to reach a goal
