Getting an upper and lower GI procedure done Monday. I'm sure you can guess. Gonna eat a great dinner Saturday so I can drink chicken broth all day Sunday.

Probably nothing. I've considered a spa appointment, but with the time change here, it's hard to stay up "late" enough for them to open at 10AM (that's 9PM Dallas, but I'm sure a massage at 9PM would put me straight to sleep!). It's now 9:19AM Sautrday here, so I MIGHT try and drag my butt to the pool for a little bit while there is actually some sun out (it's been suuuuuuuuuuuuper rainy here). I need to be awake from like...8PM until about 10AM to keep my timezones in order, so it sucks for the weekend because you're getting up when stuff starts closing and going to bed when it opens again.
I did get some super exciting news, and was able to order my initial LuLaRoe inventory today, which was about 10 weeks ahead of schedule because someone pulled some strings on my behalf. I need to get the other crap I need now that my timeline has dramatically shifted, so I can spend the wee hours of the night spending money on Amazon for supplies like clothes racks and hangers...as if I didn't just spend enough money on the actual inventory itself. Special shoutout to the hubs for not instantly shutting me down in this venture, and actually promoted me on his own facebook. Bless.
Partner is planning a surprise for me next weekend for our anniversary, with the only clues being:
We leave next Friday(1st) and return on Monday (4th)
There will be 5 souls attending (one of which is our dog, two of which is us)
I need a new swimsuit
It's not camping
We might have a similar meal as the other night (salmon burgers, grilled asparagus & pineapple)
I think it might be going to visit his folks' hunting cabin down south, which was initially going to be our plan for the 4th but then he couldn't get off work. Maybe he found a cheapish flight?
ANYWHO, my plan for this weekend is to buy a new bathing suit tomorrow before heading out to my friend's porchparty. Hope Target has a decent selection because I'm one-stop-shopping this. Also I just realized that this is a great excuse to buy the inflatable alligator that I have been pining over at Aldi but had no reason to buy because we don't have a pool.
Got frozen custard tonight with a gift card I've had since August as a back to school gift from the PTA.
Tomorrow DH and I might go pick blueberries and then go to the ILs. I'm excited about the blueberries, not so much about the ILs. They live in the middle of nowhere about an hour away from us and, frankly, I'm usually just really bored. DH is building a server for his dad and needs to go there to work on it so... oh well. I'll probably bring a book and read all day.

Tomorrow the my daughter and step daughter have soccer photos and games, have to be up at 6 am for the 5 yr olds photos which I'm dreading but then we'll be free all afternoon. My stepdaughter asked for a girls night sometime this weekend which is getting a movie and candy and kicking the boys out of the room.
I just watched the last 3 episodes of Game of Thrones, have a raspberry beer and raspberry kit kats, and got a post in on BOTH the threads before they closed so it's a good night for me.
It's Saturday here in Korea. Today I primarily cleaned my dog's indoor potty and giver her a hair cut. We have a PiddlePlace which is very easy to clean and cheaper to maintain than using pee pads. We're in the city and there's no grass outside our apartment building for her to go. Tonight is GoT. We just started watching it last weekend and we're on season 3 already. DH has to go into work tomorrow so I'll just be writing papers for grad school. I wanted to see Finding Dory this weekend but found it it doesn't release in Korea until July 7

We were at the car dealership until 8:30 last night, but H got his truck. The one he originally wanted sold literally an hour before he got off work, and he was so upset. But when the salesman called to tell him that it sold (he had already been talking to the guy about specifics), he said he had a few that were comparable, and we both actually like this one better!

I'm sitting at a car dealership getting my car fixed. Later H and I are going to a driving range (I don't golf, he does, but I do like to drink beer and hit things with clubs). Tomorrow is a lay around day.
@Everycol0r I hope it goes well! I had one once and the good news is the dye drink they gave me tasted like McDonald's orange drink.

@Sugargirl1019@AliciaGoose I had the impression that fertility friend will take into account things like drinking, fever, restless sleep, when calculating O date bc you can add in those factors under "Specifics," but it clearly doesn't. @eggplantface I've always assumed it was just for me to remember that I got sh*t faced and messed up my temps! It takes a lot of things into consideration but alcohol consumption and other things that affect temps aren't one unfortunately. And depending on the time of the month those things can really mess your chart up! The wine was worth it though
@Everycol0r Our LCBO stores (Liquor Control Board of Ontario) are pretty spectacular. Expensive, compared to the US liquor I've seen but the stores themselves are super nice. If the government wants to monitor my consumption of Mike's Hard Lemonade, crappy fruit flavoured wine and Three Olives Cake Vodka, they can knock themselves out.

@Everycol0r I'm with DH stationed in South Korea. All alcohol purchases are monitored and rationed on post EXCEPT FOR WINE. When I heard the exception for wine I thanked Jesus because that would not be fun. I think the limit is like 3 liters a month of any other alcohol even beer. I'm happy with my $5 bottles of Barefoot
@Everycol0r DH had to have a colonoscopy earlier this year. The prep day and the morning before the procedure were not fun for either of us. DH begged me to let him eat before the procedure - just one chip, or I could make him a chip smoothie and no one would ever know - but I refused. Also, baby wipes are your friend.

Whew what a weekend. Been crazy busy so I am pretty late posting here.
I had that fundraising event for the victims of the Pulse shooting Friday evening. It was held in Orlando. It was the Orlando Predators (arena football) first game since the shooting, and of course 'at home.' We had private parking in front of the Arena. We were assigned a victim to showcase. Some people couldnt come due to work/illness so a few of us doubled up. I was blessed to honor 2. 40 of 49 cars were there. I have kept the honorees in my car and plan to do so. The stadium held 49 seats for those fallen and I really hope they keep it that way for a long long time. Here are a few pics.
DH and I got home really late into Saturday morning. MIL lives with us and her boyfriend is in town so they went to his parents to hang out and apparently spent the night. So we had the house to ourselves. We had a great time and got back to "US". I really realize how much TTC has taken away from our relationship and I feel so much closer to him now. He even wanted some unscheduled bootay and it was a-maZING! Today we are just chillin and I will do some laundry.
Sad weekend random: our friend was had a low-key shindig yesterday. Expected 10 folks, 7 definite yes-es, so she got a ton of meat to grill and made her grandmother's blueberry pie from scratch.
We were the only people to show up. One guy eventually came around a few hours late. We made the best of it and grilled some of it, but she was really bummed, as she should be.
So tonight she's coming over to watch GoT and we're going to grill up the rest of the food and eat the hell out of that pie.

This seems to happen all the time these days! RSVPs don't seem to mean what they used to. If it's not an engraved invitation, people think it's okay to change their mind at the last minute? I'm sorry to hear your friend went through that, but glad you're making a GoT party out of it!

That is really sad. I hate when people flake last minute. They never really realize how much effort that individual has put into making everything perfect for the event, no matter how big or small. You are an awesome friend for being there and helping to make the best of the situation. I agree, RSVPing to anything has lost all meaning these days. Enjoy the pie and all the meat, it sounds like those other people missed out big time!
Just got back from my bachelorette party. Loved the fireworks and pool time. Mine was one night and FI is spending three nights away plus his 24 hour work shift before, so I am looking forward to jumping him when he gets home right after my annual Gyn appointment.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
