rants ! So my baby is growing huge at least my belly is ... I don't know how much bigger I can get in 11 weeks. its ridiculous !
Cravings : Ice ... Yes I'm starting again this pregnancy.
How many weeks? 28. Woo woo!
What size is baby? This week they say he's the size of an eggplant.
Upcoming appointments? I have an appointment on Monday for my Glucose test, Rogham shot, and blood work to make sure all my levels are good. I have to avoid all sugary things tomorrow. I'm not even sure I can eat fruit? UGH! Then Monday I'll do the high protein breakfast thing and drink the box juices they gave me and then we'll see what happens!
Rants/Raves/Questions? This insomnia shiznit is getting seriously out of hand. I feel like I have Restless BODY Syndrome. If I can fall asleep pretty quickly I might be able to pull 4 hours before I'm wide awake. I get brave and take Unisom occasionally and it knocks me out but then I'm super groggy the next morning. Tonight I'm trying chamomile tea and HALF a Unisom tab. I'd like to stop taking Unisom all together but I'll have to wait and see. Nurse says Unisom sleep tabs are TOTALLY SAFE as long as I don't take over the recommended dosage... but I just hate taking an over the counter sleep aide every night - baby safe or not.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Still craving chocolate. My pickle relish desire is strong too, lately. The other day I took to eating that stuff straight out of the jar until I realized I was being a wacko and (regretfully) put it up.
GTKY: Favorite Television Series! EASY PEASY! I have a few... Supernatural, Dr. Who, Sherlock, Once Upon a Time, Grimm (though this one is getting kind of eesh, lately), and NCIS. I also enjoy Outlander (though I'm not caught up) and Penny Dreadful (I watch off and on since it's so violent. I can only watch so much at one time). I'm also behind 1 season on pretty much everything because even though we have DISH, we don't usually watch TV and depend on Netflix and Amazon primarily for our entertainment. Go figure.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Why in the hell do I live in a place where they have no air conditioning!? It's no joke -40 in the winter and mid 80s in the summer. I would appreciate my house not being a sauna all damn day! Thank goodness for popcicles
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Starting to get swelling in my feet be the end of the day. I had lace impressions from my boots yesterday, I see tennis shoes in my future for work wear.

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? insomnia, why am I wide awake at 4am. Lucky charms or banana stuffed french toast are my current weakness.

What size is baby? Zucchinis. Although, I have a feeling that these 2 are bigger than zucchinis.
Upcoming appointments? Cardiologist on Tuesday to get my test results from last month and MFM on Thursday. Busy week.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Sleeping in the bed has been rare for me lately. I've mostly had to sleep in the recliner. But,when DH had his nights off last week, I was able to sleep in the bed and slept really really well. Damn you DH for working 3rd shift!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Restless leg syndrome is so real. I had it before pregnancy but it certainly wasn't this bad. And I'm pretty sure that the medication they've given me for it (also prescribed for Parkinson's) wouldn't fly right now. Plus it makes me sick to my stomach for the first few days. Unfortunately I'm having to pop Tylenol every day too to help with my back pain.
GTKY: Which is your favorite tele-series? Any character that you think you resemble the most with? Big Bang Theory, Once Upon a Time (I'm at least a season behind though) and Snapped.
What size is baby? Bunch of bananas/lettuce/cucumber
Upcoming appointments? I need to book my glucose test for next week, and am now every 3 weeks for my midwife appointments, so next appointment is on July 5
Rants/Raves/Questions? Bending over, which I have to do on the regular as a nurse, is awful. Definitely lacking in energy lately. Also hate my lack of sex drive because DH is definitely suffering which makes me feel bad.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Crazy RLS most nights, increasing need to pee every 5 minutes (I really wish this symptom would fuck off after the first tri)

Oh god, where do I begin? Archer, Bob's Burgers, The Venture Bros, Arrested Development, Outlander, OITNB, Sherlock Holmes, and most of all... Firefly. Don't really feel I resemble any character.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I would love one night of sleep where I don't wake up hurting-I feel like every time I roll over, I wake up to pains in my side! I never feel it during the day, so it must be the way I'm sleeping.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I cry at EVERYTHING. It's out of control. And the sweating! My gosh--I can't remove any more clothing in public without going to jail... Cravings: sweets Aversions: Ground turkey

Upcoming appointments? Just had a quick and easy check-up this past week, due for my next appt on the 7th.
Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: Had my shower yesterday and it was a lot of fun! With DS1's pregnancy I lived across the country, away from all my family, so it was nice to have our moms and siblings around to celebrate with.
Rant: I have a horrible cough that I must've picked up while touring preschools with DS1. It's one of the so-deep-down-in-your-lungs-it-makes-you-accidentally-pee-a-little kind of coughs. FUN.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I'm actually not doing too horribly at the moment, apart from the cough thing.

Raves: My SIL's bachelorette weekend was fun. Had a massage and it was the best thing ever. I'm pretty sure my MIL is planning a baby shower tomorrow night, she made a big deal about husband and I coming to church tomorrow. Rant: this wedding is turning into a three ring circus!! We spent almost 3 hours last night trying to figure out the order that people are coming in for the ceremony. Sister's motto is "I'm not worried about it". Mom's motto "I have to worry about it because I have to pick up the pieces when things don't go the right way". My motto "can we go get BBQ?" At least the husband gets here tomorrow so he can help dilute the crazy.
