Hi girls,
I am confused and need some advice. Let me start from the beginning. Last year in sept I discovered my first pregnancy. We were very excited and happy and also a bit shocked because it happened in the first try. But later things changed, something went wrong and we lost her; on the 29th week I had an emergency c section and she survived only 15 days, she was very premature.
It's been very hard since then. You never get over it, especially after seeing her, holding her but you learn to live with what happened. We were not allowed to get pregnant soon because of the scar but it's been 3 months since we ttc again.
Problem is since giving birth my periods are so irregular and the period signs changed a lot so I can never be sure when I will ovulate or will have my period. Anyway, couple of days ago I realized that I am leaking milk. But I am not sure because it was a very small amount, less than a drop. Do you think it means something? My breasts are tender but not very discomforting at all, as it was with my first pregnancy, it's more like period breast pain. And I had some tummy pain as well but againg it can be because my period is getting closer.
I want to be pregnant again... so much. I know it may take sometime but I my brain always trick me into thinking maybe I am pregnant... My period supposed to start tomorrow according to mycycle.com but as I said it's been always late after pregnancy.
I don't know what to do, should I take a test or wait for couple weeks for my period? Both will be very disappointing and heartbreaking if I am not pregnant... ((
Re: Hi everyone, I need advice!
I would start charting. That way you will know what is going on with your body. You will be able to tell when exactly you ovulate. You may not be late right now, you may have ovulated late.
Try reading TCOYF and going to www.fertilityfriend.com.
I am very sorry about your loss.
First, I am so sorry about your loss.
IMO - I would wait a while before taking a HPT. I would probably wait until next weekend. It will give you more accurate results.
Something that might help you figure out what's going on with your body is to start charting. Check out www.fertilityfriend.com - read the tutorials and start charting. I was VERY against it but eventually gave in and learned so much about my body.
Good luck!
I am very sorry about your loss.
As far as ttc now. You should look at FertilityFriend.com and read Taking charge of your fertility (TCOYF) to help you understand your body better. Charting is the only way you know what is going on so I would suggest getting a BBT thermometer and start temping so get used to it. The only way to know if you O is by taking your temp every morning.
As far as whether you are pg now, we have no way of knowing. My suggestion would be to wait a week and then test since you don't know when you o'd. If you ovulate late AF will be late so you may not actually get AF tomorrow and you wouldn't be late.
I hope that this works out for you and again I am sorry for your loss, but if you have any other questions feel free to ask here!
Hi, I am very sorry for your loss. ?I also lost a child late into the pregnancy & was told to wait 6 months before TTC, I know how hard it is. ?Your cycles will be whacky for a while, mine have ranged from 29 to 42 days, where as before the pg my cycles were generally 32-34 days. ?I would suggest that you register for fertilityfriend.com, You can put in all your signs and temps and maybe that would help you figure out the signs that you have around ovulation.
There is a board here called TTC after a Loss that would be a good resource for you. ?Good luck with everything!?
