Nauseous over things other than food?

in 1st Trimester
Does anyone get sick to their stomachs over anything other then food? I dont know what the reason is but I get sick to my stomach when I think about hosting a party at our house. Its not that I hate my friends and family. I think I start thinking of all the food that will be there and the smells and trying to act not tired and sick and worrying about doing all the dishes and stuff. I don't know I thought that seemed weird.

    get used to it. I got sick over the stupidest stuff during 1st tri.  I couldn't even drink cold water, it had to be room temp.

    It's probably stress related nausea.  I get that a lot. You know it's going to be a lot of work, and just thinking about it makes you sick!

    I understand what you mean. If you think that was weird..I had this strange dream (nightmare ^_^) about the golden confections that they put on wedding cakes...thinking that they tasted like "metal" or "copper" made me gag in my dream. I woke up feeling so sick and when I tried to explain it to my 11 yr old daughter, I ran to the restroom and threw up! Talk about strange..lol!

    I haven't felt sick about parties lately but I know what you mean, I have a hard time going into the malls right now because of the smells from the pretzel stans. I even disliked the airport smell! But lately it's gotten so bad that I have gaged even with my own saliva and with water! :( It's making it pretty hard to drink my prenatals too because I dread mornings and having to take them!

    Dial soap...not kidding, I couldn't be near it during my first pregnancy, and the aversion still lingers to this day (pregnant or not).

    If I smell smoke on someone it makes me want to hurl. Absolutely turns my stomach.

    Crazy, because I was a smoker. Quit just 1 month prior to BFP
