any of your babies on prevacid for silent reflux

Hi ladies.....I am at my wit's end because my 6 week old son has terrible silent reflux......My pedi put him on pepcid and it hasn't helped at all.   He also has mspi and he agonizes with the silent reflux after and during his bottles.   He screams and you can see and hear it as it comes back up and he screams until he turns purple.I took him to the pediatric gastro and she just increased the pepcid....Still not helping.   I am hearing a lot about prevacid and want to bring that up to her when I return on Tuesday.....Do any of you moms have any experience with prevacid and did it help your babies with their reflux.   I feel so helpless and he is soooo uncomfortable.    thank you for any and all replies.....

    My 6.5 week old baby has been on prevacid for silent reflux for about 3.5 weeks now, and I have noticed a difference. She is also on zantac, which we are weaning her off of. I'd say I noticed a difference after about a week and now it's almost like she doesn't have reflux! She still is a super fussy, colicky baby. But her fussy times are less severe, the crying is more of an annoyed crying instead of an in pain cry. Good luck, I hope you work it out! I know how much it sucks.
