    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) Fatigue, bloating, queasy, gas, super sore boobs/nipples, smell aversions

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) I'm starting to get more and more excited. I've made it farther than last time, I had a little spotting but it hasn't returned, and symptoms are definitely in full force.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? First appt. isn't until July 12th :(

    5. Rants/raves/whatever We've already told my IL's and my step-mom but this weekend we're going to tell the rest of the family. I'll be 7w and I know it's still early but we want them to know. It's been super hard to keep it quiet this long! I'm so looking forward to Sunday!

  • Ok - How do you deal with the days when your symptoms seem less intense?  I know that they will come and go, and maybe I should be glad to be less constipated/have less painful breasts, etc., but instead it freaks me out.
    Any suggestions?
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) I have been fairly active on TTGP since February.  Got a BFP in March and then M/C early April.  This was our first cycle trying again, so it's nice that it happened so quickly.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) I'm ravenous and nauseas at the same time which is annoying.  Also, very dizzy and F-ing exhausted.  I slept 8 and a half hours last night, why am I so tired.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) Anxiety is through the roof honestly.  Doctor wants me in for blood work this week, then follow up blood work every week for awhile.  He also wants me monitored via U/S every other week until I hit 13 weeks.  He said at 13 weeks I'm as likely to carry to term as any pregnant woman who's never miscarried, so maybe I'll feel calmer then, but probably not.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? BW tomorrow.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever Honestly I'm still in a haze of anxiety and excitement

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your significant other? He is great with kids, every time he is around my nieces/nephews/cousins everyone says how great he is.  I think it shows how gentle and loving he is :)

  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating)

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) All of a sudden exhausted and just feeling kind of bad overall with waves of nausea.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) feeling good, trying not to worry too much.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? Next Monday!

    5. Rants/raves/whatever It's so hot out, my run turned into a walk and I was still out of breath when I got back.

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your significant other? So supportive and thoughtful!
  • 1. Tell us about yourself: I had a MC over Christmas last year at around 7 weeks. Got the current BFP on Saturday - tested late (16 DPO) - EDD is Feb 15th. Now that I'm typing this I think I may have introduced myself on last week's thread yesterday...

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) - a bit of fatigue, dizziness, and tender breasts - but the big one is diarrhea (sorry if TMI). Oh and this morning I'm slightly nauseated but that could be anxiety or that could be MS.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) - not horrible but not great.

    4. First appointment - this Wednesday - have something else to talk to my GP about - but I'll be calling in about 40 minutes to update the appointment  notes. I need to set some early testing plans in place.

    5. Rant/Rave/Whatever - I'm able to sleep in some days but despite feeling exhausted I can't seem to fall back asleep.

    6. GTKY - he's incredibly loving and reliable.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) I hit the 6 week mark today and felt like absolute crap all morning.  Super nauseous but knew that if i didnt eat things would only get worse.  Now I'm STARVING for no reason since I literally was putting something in my mouth for the last 3 hours.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) :  I had betas done last week and they went from 3,500 at 5W 2D to 6,800 at 5W 4D so that was really reassuring! Getting to 6 weeks was also a big deal since we didn't make it that far last time.  Overall, I'm feeling pretty good.  As much as i don't like feeling like I may hurl, I find it a bit comforting.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? First appointment is 6/29.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever Not much.  It's our first anniversary today.  No idea where the last 365 days went.

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your significant other?  He is just so kind.  There are a lot of awesome things I could say about him, but he is the kindest man with the biggest heart!
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating)

He is very thoughtful of me and a fantastic daddy to our girls.
Rachel, mama to Ava (6), Olivia (4), Nora (2), and baby#4 on the way.

  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) I have been fairly active on TTGP since last June.  Got a BFP in November but miscarried at 6 weeks right before Christmas. I got my most recent BFP last Tuesday; EDD 2-15-17. I was scared to join but decided to take the plunge.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) Sore boobs everyday, on and off nausea, I had a horrible headache the first few days.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) I'm terrified. After taking 11 months to get pregnant the first time and then losing the baby I was so heartbroken, depressed for months. I don't what I'll do if I have to go through that again. DH is so terrified to see me like that again.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? About a month ago I made an annual apt with a new OBGYN to get a second opinion on infertility testing. It just so happens it's this Friday. I haven't called then to inform then I'm KU, should I? I'm afraid they will reschedule but I really want to keep this apt because I have a ton of questions and would like some blood work.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever I really want to tell family especially since Father's day is Sunday but family wasn't supportive the last time so we are going to wait awhile. I did tell 3 friends who have been there for me through this process. I am already sick of lying. My coworker knew I was having girls weekend with jello shots so I they asked about that, our company has a Cedar Point day every year and coworker asked why I'm not going, etc.

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your significant other? He's a great listener and knows how to make me laugh

  • Guys!  I got my blood work back and my Progesterone was 37 and my HCG was 150 at only 3 + 6!  The doctor said my numbers are great.  For my loss my progesterone was only 17.8, so this is so much better.  Has anyone been on Prometrium?  The doctor is recommending I go on it to maintain my levels.  Any thoughts?

    Pregnancy Ticker
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating)
I'm 31 years old, this is my 4th pregnancy. I have 2 beautiful daughter  (4 almost 5 and 2 1/2). We lost our son Noah on February 25 at 16 weeks. Just found out yesterday that we are pregnant again and it's quite a surprise! I'm guessing my EDD is 2/19 but my cycles have not been normal since our loss.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
No symptoms so far other then sore boobs

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Surprisingly I'm feeling ok so far!

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
I have an appointment on Monday to starting monitoring and to confirm the pregnancy. Since Noah was a late loss my doctor wants to keep an eye on me and give me piece of mind.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
Just praying for all of us to have a safe, health, and uneventful 9 months!

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your significant other? He makes me laugh a lot and keeps me from getting too serious!
  • 1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating)

I can't remember if I did this last week or not. I can't remember anything right now. I lose my keys and my phone 100 times a day. The pregnancy brain is real. Short story: I'm 31. I have two daughters and have had 2 losses. One mmc in November and one CP in April.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)

Exhausted... Yet I can't sleep. It's awful. Slightly queasy at times. I keep having hot flashes. And my boobs hurt like heck.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)

Honestly, better than I thought I would be. I've anticipated a BFP to come with serious worry. But I oddly have a peace about all of this.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?

I had my first betas draw and an ultrasound on Monday. Beta was 114 and they could see something in my uterus! I had my second beta today. I don't know those numbers yet. My next appointment is July 13th. We'll do an official dating ultrasound and all that jazz.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever

I've had this great plan to surprise my oldest that were having another baby by telling her during the photoshoot that will be used as the big reveal for everyone else. I really wanted to capture her reaction on camera. Unfortunately she's too smart for her own good. She knew we were hoping for another baby. Today at my beta draw she noticed the pictures of babies and pregnant mothers in my midwife's office and put two and two together. Her smile was exactly what I was anticipating. I just didn't get to capture it!

Now that she knows I plan on taking the pictures this afternoon. I'll update with an AW!

    6. GTKY: What is your favorite thing about your significant other?

He treats me like a goddess. If I want it, he does whatever he can go get it for me. Fortunately I'm the biggest cheapskate ever and hardly ever ask for anything (because I hate spending money). He also gives me full body massages a couple times a week. He at least rubs my feet or my back daily. I'm definitely spoiled by him. It's amazing to feel so loved and important.

on a non superficial note... He's extremely intelligent. He works in a very specialized field and he's damn good at it. He worked hard to get where he is career wise and I admire him for that.

    TTC again soon!
  • Late to the game this week it's been crazy busy around here!

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)
Queasy off and on, but nothing unbearable. I've had a headache going on three days. Cramps off an on today but nothing major.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)
Super stressed. We went for our viability scan at what we thought was 6+2 yesterday, but she only saw a sac and maybe a fetal pole that measured about 5 weeks. They drew betas and it was 869, so they're doing another draw tomorrow to see what happens.

    4. When is your first or next appointment?
Next ultrasound is on June 27, which feels like forever away.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever
I'm just a big ball of worry right now. I keep trying to be calm and stay in the moment, but it keeps feeling like the shit is going to hit the fan soon.

    6. GTKY: Too many to list them all! But a few...he's very patient and has an amazing work ethic. He's pretty much the most intelligent person I know, and there isn't anything he's not good at!
  • I just need to get this out somewhere. I already contacted my OB's office and am waiting to hear back.

About 7:30 this morning I started having sharp, stabbing right-sided abdominal pain. It's just about the level of my belly button and only lasts for a few seconds at a time. I had waves of it for a couple of hours, then a break and now it's back again.  In between I'm having crampy/colicy pain. It hurts to eat or drink.

No spotting, no bleeding, no fever (but I've been having chills for a week) I've also already had my appendix out, thank you Dr Google.

At 4w+4d, there isn't anything to -do-, but I'm feeling pretty stressed out.

I'm so sorry you're in pain! Keep us posted. It is a good sign that bleeding is not accompanying your pain but it doesn't make it any less scary. I'll be praying and thinking of you! I hope the OB calls you back ASAP.
  • My guess was right, they're worried about an ectopic. On the bright side, I get a couple hcg's, so that might ease my general MC paranoia.  On the downside, I'm supposed to call if it comes back/gets worse, and they'll send me to the ER if it's outside business hours.

@WorkingOnMyNightCheese FX for you that everything is just fine! (yes, I'm telling you again)
@momousekee sending good thoughts! Please keep us updated
    1. Tell us about yourself (if your first time participating) Hi, I'm new. Just got my BFP Monday, this is my 2nd pregnancy; we have no kids yet. Had a MC right before Christmas, and we didn't start trying again until April.

    2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms) Right now just sore boobs. Is it bad that I'm actually hoping for nausea? I never really got morning sickness with my loss.

    3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise) It's on and off. I've been mostly excited.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? I haven't actually made one yet.

    5. Rants/raves/whatever : So I have a question. My OB doesn't normally do blood work to confirm, she just does a 7 week U/S as the first appointment. Do y'all think I should ask for betas? It might just give me more anxiety, so I'm thinking of just waiting til 7 weeks.

  • @KyCat my OB stays away from betas because of the anxiety the testing can produce, but if you feel like it will make you feel better, definitely advocate for what you want!
  • 1. Tell us about yourself : This is pregnancy #4 for us since October. I had an ectopic and had surgery on May 4 and we were supposed to wait to try again but here we are.

    2. How are you feeling: Exhausted and the only thing I can eat are ham and cheese hot pockets.

    3. How are you feeling: I was very anxious because I wasn't sure if the positive home tests and symptoms were from them not clearing everything out from my previous surgery because I got my first positive test so soon (May 27) but my betas came back really high and then we had an ultrasound this week and could see the pregnancy and everything looks good.

    4. When is your first or next appointment? Already had a couple appointments, I'm supposed to go back in next friday but my oldest is now having dental surgery that day so I have to call and reschedule.

Second hCG came back "just under 7000", but she also said that it went up by more than 66%, and that math doesn't work out.

Either way, as long as I don't start bleeding and that single-sided pain doesn't come back, I'm good to go.

Edit: She released the results. 6857, which gives me an increase of 50% in 48 hours. Given that I'm over 6000, and ~ a 93 hour doubling time. Dr Google agrees with my NP that it's normal. ;)

So good news! Glad to hear your pain went away as well. Yay!
  • Ok - How do you deal with the days when your symptoms seem less intense?  I know that they will come and go, and maybe I should be glad to be less constipated/have less painful breasts, etc., but instead it freaks me out.
    Any suggestions?
I know! It's the craziest feeling. You are more anxious the days you are not feeling the full force of the symptoms... we should be able to enjoy those days instead of going into panic mode :(
  • Yesterday was a high anxiety day for me. It was added to by the fact that I didn't have much I had to do (lazy day). So, I had all the time in the world to just think about the baby and ponder and Google search.
  • @SquirrelGiggles83 - yesterday had me freaking out too - I'm sorry it was so rough on you.

I peed on another FRER and it was a lot lighter than the one I took a week before and it freaked me out so bad. Still not calm but I'm better. I have an HCG scheduled tomorrow to check it properly.
