Not PG related - rude neighbours

I have a 2 year old whose window faces directly on to my neighbour's backyard. EVERY single night they have a party. It used to be really bad - like screaming, yelling drunk kids who would play guitar, sign and blare music. I called them one night, very politely asked them to turn it down, and they apologized and did.
The problem is they are still SO LOUD. There is no more music or guitars and no more drunken outdoor fights, but they are outside from 8pm - 2 am (literally) every night (including weekends), talking loudly, laughing loudly and it's just so obnoxious.

They're being respectful by not screaming and playing music anymore, but they are still so loud.

Should I approach them again or am I just being a crusty old bitch.

FWIW, my son rarely wakes up to their noise anymore but when I'm trying to watch TV or if we wanted to sit outside, they're all we hear.

Is there a noise bylaw in your community after a certain time? If there is, you can call bylaw enforcement or police to enforce it. (Of course, this only works of they are actually breaking the bylaw)

Yes, there is but it's totally subjective.

"No parties, loud music past 11 p.m. No excessive noise at any time."

I live in a college town, and the neighborhood always tries to start off on the right foot with the students. But, when they become too loud too late, each neighbor calls the cops as often as needed until the students start respecting the neighborhood.

I'm sure you don't wake them up when your kid wakes up. They should respect you the same.

I guess I'm torn because they've already given up the music, etc. and you said they aren't waking up your son anymore. It's annoying to be sure, and since they responded well the first time, you could try again. Hopefully they'll be receptive. At the same time, you can't expect everyone to have the same schedule as your family. And it sounds like they're just hanging out and talking (albeit loudly) in their backyard in the summer where it is presumably cooler than it is indoors. That sounds like a reasonable thing for them to be able to do as well.

Just start mowing the lawn and doing home improvement projects REALLY early every weekend!!!
